Northern tool in Madison Tennessee charges a customer $200 for a tow dolly. They advertise the price online and also in-store but charge the customer $200 on top of the original price Ford assembly fee
I wanted to let everyone know coming to the store that they charge extra fees for the assembly team. Northern tool gets 0 star for me.

Would be 5 stars, except they asked if I would like to purchase extended warranty multiple times. The last time I was ‘in-store’ I began my checkout by saying, “I’m not interested in any extended warranties”; they still asked me twice more, after I said that.

Easy shopping to send tool to family member. Didn't give 5 star because I have not seen product in person But it looks solid. 👍

Called them before traveling over an hour to get to the store. On the phone I gave them a specific part number to the tool after waiting 20 minutes they said they had two in stock. I get to the store and he did not have the right tool even though I gave him the exact part number. I then decided to get a heater so my drive was not wasted and they told me they had a propane tank in the back. I get to the check out and he tells me they don’t have anymore. Such a wasted drive for something I was very specific about before even leaving my house to make sure they had.

Most staff are great and will ask if you need help and give you reliable information. There are a few who have been a bit standoffish and don't seem to be interested in making sure the customer has all of their questions answered. Evaluate all, coach those who need customer service skill improvement and cull those who do not learn and apply that knowledge. The web has all of the same stuff and customers do NOT have to come in the the brick & mortar store. We do because we want to support a local store and have our questions answered by a real person.
