I replaced my system with these folks last summer. This morning the thermostat was dead. No lights nothing. I called and they were here at noon. Not just one of them but the whole family that works the business. When installing my system they installed a cutoff switch in the water pan. The pan had filled due to a blockage in the drainpipe. They fixed that and check the coolant outside. They also did a courtesy check of coolant for my upstairs system. Which they had not installed! There was no charge! I won't be dealing with anyone else going forward they have my trust and appreciation.

We had dealt with another local hvac contractor and were very disappointed with their service and prices. We initially contacted Mike at Karns Mechanical to replace our furnace and, based on that experience, we have called them every time we have needed hvac work. The staff at Karns Mechanical are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and we recommend them highly.

The week before I wouldn’t even need it for the Winter, our Compressor kicked the bucket a little bit before noon on one of the absolute hottest days of the entire fall. Within hours the temp inside our home was nearing 80 degrees and we like it cold! Like REALLY COLD! So for us at 72 Degrees we’re uncomfortable. Anyways, in a panic and getting our overnight bags ready for a hotel stay, I called Karns Mechanical thinking it would be at least a day or two before I would get service. WRONG! I called and explained our situation to the owners wife, whose friendly voice almost immediately put me at ease, and definitely let me know I picked the right company. She politely told me that because it was getting later in the day at this point, it would probably be in the morning before the guys could make it to my house. I understood and was content with having to spend the night in a Hotel because at least then it would be Cool and sleep would be had. However, before booking the appointment she took my number and said that she couldn’t promise anything, but she would give the guys my address and just see if they could stop by on their way in. We hung up, and within 5min she called and said they were finishing up a huge job, and probably wouldn’t even have the part I needed until the next day, but that they would stop by and give me an estimate and tell me what was wrong. I called at 4:15(because I tried to reset my unit on my own and it can take hours sometimes.) Right before 6:00 the Owner and his Son in Law showed up and were as nice as could be. I wouldn’t have guessed that they had been on a really hard job for 10 hours before coming to my house for a job they had very limited info on. The guys had me diagnosed, and Even Fixed within 15min! Brand New Compressor and Oh So Sweet Air Conditioning! I will Never Use Another Company Regardless of Price, which by the way was great! Under $100 to replace Compressor, check the lines and other potential issues. It was the best money I had spent that entire year and probably since Oct, 10,2018!! Use this Company for all your HVAC Needs, I Promise That You Won’t Regret It. They were Very Honest, treated me with the upmost respect, given that I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, and they couldn’t have been nicer if they tried! From Initial Call through watching them Drive Away, No Doubt Exhausted, my experience with Karns Mechanical was PERFECT!!

Good honest folks that quoted a very good price. Took extra time to make sure things were done right (reinstalling the surrounding fence). Family owned business so customer service was top priority. 3+ months without any issues. I will definitely be using them again.

I called about my air being out and within 45 minutes they were at my front door. He said he didn't have to do anything but reset it. The charge was $45 !! Less than a service charge from any other company. Honest to the core. I will recommend to all I know. Kudos, Mr. Jenkins.

I've been through 3 Air Conditioning installs in the past 9 years (different homes) and Karns Mechanical is the best of them. They installed a new unit and did some custom duct work.
The folks who arrive to do the work are mostly family and very friendly all the way through. They look like they are enjoying what they do all the while.
My older house presented some special challenges, but they figured a way around the obstacles. I offered to pay the owner more because of the extra work, but he refused to accept it. The owner (the guy who gives the estimate) is also the guy who is going to be there when the work is getting done.
These people are honest and competent. I can tell that they are the kind that don't want to leave the job until it is properly done. What more do you want.
Oh, and they'll give you a price that others are unlikely to beat!

I have used Karns Mechanical four times at different locations and have always been treated fairly and they do excellent work. If you need heating or air conditioning service they are the ones I would call. They also honor any guarantees they give you.

Karns Mechanical did an excellent job, they showed up on time, did everything they said they would & cleaned up after the job was done. They also made sure that we understood how to work the thermostat and filed all of our warranties.
