Thank you so much for honesty and integrity in business. It is rare in 2023. I’m so sick of being taken advantage of by various trade workers in the Nashville area. Ever since Covid, and even before, folks will come, sell you lies and do poor work.

TCS are a pleasure to work with. I sure know who to call about HVAC now, wish I had their info years ago. Stay away from those franchise, big name companies, they are not in business to help folks. Except maybe help us empty our bank accounts.

My disabled Aunt's AC went out, and this business came out to her home at a 11:24 pm. The repair representative came from Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. My Aunt's AC couldn't be fixed that evening, because they didn't have a fan in stock for her particular unit. However, he went to the shop, picked up two window units, installed them while she waited for her central heat and air unit to be fixed. We were very impressed with the service, and would recommend this company to anyone. My home will need a new central heat and air system and I plan to use this company. I know we will receive a fair price, and good service. We were not charged extra for the late repair call.

After all the cold weather I wanted someone to come out and make sure my heating was working correctly.

I searched FB for recommendations and TCS was mentioned a lot so I thought I would give them a try.

In short: Yes, would recommend. They made the right diagnosis, fixed the problem unit and serviced the other one.

A big PLUS was that I had some concerns about how my billing was handled. I called the office expecting them to tell me to pound sand like so many of these small businesses and instead I talked to Erica who just fixed the problem on the spot! It was awesome and the kind of business I feel good to recommend to others. Big thank you to Erica!

The one star I took off was because they didn't show up and didn't call on the day they were supposed to be here originally. I called them to see what was going on and they rescheduled me for the next day (and were here early which was nice)

Also the technician, who was friendly and did a great job, smelled pretty strongly of cigarette smoke and so my house smelled like cigarette smoke until it cleared out. Not a huge deal, but not 5-star service.

Overall, I'd totally recommend working with TCS.

Price for getting a unit serviced was $80

Price for them to look at a unit and tell you what's wrong (diagnostic) $85.

Price per hour for them to fix any issues they find after making the assessment $120/hr

We had our AC go out after a power outage. We called Total Comfort, and they sent a tech out pretty promptly. He said it was a bad thermostat, charged us $200, and then left. I replaced the t-stat, and that didn't fix it. He came back, swore that if he replaced the (new t-stat), that would fix it. It worked for 45 minutes and then never again. So we're on thermostat #3, and $500 in the hole. At this point, the brand new stat their tech swore would fix it isn't working, and they won't take it back or refund any of the money.

The tech flat out tells me on the phone he's out of ideas so no use in him coming back. I call another company and work with them to get things actually fixed. But, because I've used Total Comfort in the past and had good experiences, I called them up and asked for whomever is in charge to reach out to me so I could relay my experiences with them. I like to give companies a chance to fix their errors before I put it out in the world.

No one ever called back. To recap, we spent $500 with Total Comfort, plus extra time and money on my own implementing the fixes they claimed would work, and at the end we got nowhere. Then we went on to another company who actually figured out what the issue was, and fixed it. I gave them a chance to chat with me and make it right and no one ever even returned my calls.

Do with that info what you will, but I can tell you we'll never use them again.

Punctual and thorough assessment of what I already dreaded needing replacement. Pricing was fair, service was explained in detail and all my questions were answered. System works better now then when I bought my home 12 years ago.

Total Comfort systems was able to come the same day and repair my A/C unit. Dwight, the technician, was very professional and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He had the parts to repair my A/C (blower relay) on the truck and topped off my Freon. He was in and out in about an hour. I highly recommend Total Comfort Systems and will use them for my HVAC needs going forward.

I have used these folk;s since 2008. They show up on time. They triple check their work. They can be trusted. The staff is caring, conscientious, courteous. The three C's is what I look for when doing business. They are reasonable and competitive. My neighbor had same system installed from HOME DEPOT and paid 2975.00 more for same system and had a problem next day and had to wait a week for service call . Absolutely the best! The entire staff is so courteous & knowledgeable. They showed up on time to install our new system and went above & beyond to make sure everything would go smoothly. These folks are way above the 5 star rating!

We had a major project to resolve with water under the house and I can't speak highly enough about the patience and professionalism that we received from TCS over an extended period of time while the water management issues were resolved by a separate contractor. As soon as it was practically possible the TCS team were back at our property rebuilding the entire ductwork system under a rural property with minimal headroom. Customer for life - thank-you from our entire family!

I have used this company several times and they are great to work with. Their technicians are very friendly and honest. The never try to upsale you, their prices are reasonable and they deliver quality work. Highly recommended.
