    Robby Soos was outstanding and helped us clear a drain on the weekend when we had no power. When we found out we hadn’t had power for more than 24 hours he was kind enough to ask if we needed him to bring any water or food for us. He was kind and worked incredibly hard to get the drain opened up. Highly recommend him and Metro

    Two days ago my water heater busted and flooded my garage. I called a couple company’s for an emergency repair and not one was available, until I called Metro. Although, we had to wait until the next day for a tech to come out, the lady on the phone helped walk me through shutting off the water heater to stop the leak until the tech could come out. She then put us on emergency priority and by 0800 the following morning, Nick was heading to our house to fix our problem. He did a full inspection on the house, checked all of our pipes to make sure there was not any other leaks. When he couldn’t find any, Nick wrote up a few different options for us to be cost effective. We chose to replace the water heater and get a new toilet for up stairs. Nick was able to get the water heater and toilet delivered within 30 minutes of us agreeing to the work and promptly began installing. Needless to say, Nick and Metro have been incredibly professional, personable and courteous. If I ever have an issue with plumbing again (I hope I don’t) I will be going to Metro the first time and I will be requesting Nick. He was a great guy. Thanks for helping us out Metro and Nick. My family and I greatly appreciate your service!

    Had lots of work done by Metro. Carl and Tommy were super helpful and responsive with our septic tank pump and repair. They gave us multiple options so we could choose what best fit our needs and budget, patiently answered tons of questions and got the jobs done quickly. Sam did a full plumbing/pipe inspection of the house and was equally great. He ran through all the possible concerns, prioritized them and provided several different pricing options. He went above and beyond to ensure our system was in good shape when he left and let us know what to keep an eye on in the future. Overall, the Metro team has been friendly, fast, affordable and reliable.

    When you own an older home that has a septic tank system, you know at some point the system will age out and have to be replaced. You can wish all you want, but the day will come when it fails and the question then becomes well now what? So when ours finally decided its time on this planet was over, everyone was like OMG what are you going to do? And the old man and I were like....ah call Metro and get it taken care of. Apparently it's like one of the worse things that can happen to a homeowner so people were shocked when we were calm and chill. Well that's what happens when you have a company you know and trust. We call and Christi comes out to see what's going on and what we need. This woman is an absolute delight, truly she's a gem. If she shows up at your place, know you are in good hands. So we set up a plan and get rolling. Then we met Tommy, if you ever get the chance to go to the office to see him, take it....You'll enjoy your time there. He's worth the trip and then some.
    Armando comes to fix the piping in the downstairs shop to the outside and he does an amazing job and to boot he's got a great sense of humor.
    And then there's Fred. You ever meet someone and go....this is someone who makes the universe worthwhile. That's Fred. He and his wonderful partner....Chris? (I hope that's it...) replace the tank and the field lines. The two of them were some of the hardest working people we have ever met. If you need a new tank, ask for Fred. If you need field lines, ask for Fred.
    People have said to us....oh I bet that wasn't cheap....well no...we had tons of work done but you know what's worth it....the peace of mind that comes with knowing everyone involved did everything they could to create the best option to solve all our issues.
    There aren't enough words to express how grateful we are.

    Matt came to share a quote for a new HVAC and furnace. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions...which was a lot! Additionally, he was kind, considerate, and honest. You could tell he is proud of who he works for, which gave me even more confidence to purchase from them.

    We just bought our house and weren't super happy with the estimates and other companies we had talked to about a lateral line repair/replacement so we decided last minute to contact Metro. I'm so glad we did! The office staff quickly connected us with Chris who was able to come out on short notice. *Chris did more to properly assess and explain the issue than all the folks we had talked to up to that point combined.* He also took the time to take a look at the plumbing in the rest of the house and give a detailed explanation of (and multiple options for) the possible/necessary repairs. He quoted us a super fair price on everything and was willing to work with us on breaking up the cost in a way that worked for us.

    The team that came to do the work (shoutout Armando) was also timely, communicative, and conscientious about the impact on the yard and inside the house.

    Throughout the whole process, Brandon provided updates from the office, which were especially helpful since the city had to be involved in the repair as well.

    Truly the most enjoyable sewer-related experience you could have!

    Good customer service. When they showed up they asked me questions about my AC system (I need a replacement). I told them I wanted something cheap and nothing over 14.3 seers as it is not a good investment for resale value to go above that. They then took an hour plus to get me a quote which only had seers 16.2 units and above.... We could have saved each others time if I knew this from the start.

    I’m honestly flabbergasted at the high number of positive reviews. I’ve used Metro a couple times, and have had family/friends use them as well, and every single time Metro has price-gouged us beyond belief. I was quoted over $1,500 to just replace a hot water heater, while another plumber was able to do it for under $600. The technicians themselves are actually decent and friendly guys, which is the only reason I’m giving Metro 2 stars.

    Their solutions are seemingly designed to involve more work than is necessary. To fix a clogged old pipe, I was quoted as needing an entire new pipe system that would involve ripping up flooring! They couldn’t even give me a cost estimate due to how intense the job would have been. They also didn’t even attempt to, you know, unclog or fix the pipe. Meanwhile, a different company simply cut out a part of the pipe and replaced it, and it cost less than $200. Easy, simple. It really seems as if Metro tried as hard as they can to create more work for everyone involved so that they can squeeze more money out of their customers.

    All in all, they’re a big local company that’ll charge you an arm and a leg - far beyond reasonable levels. I’d stay clear of them, and I’m absolutely shocked at the number of positive reviews. Perhaps I’ve just gotten unlucky with their service?
