I am a real estate agent and I need a good heating & air company to do inspections as well as make repairs to various properties. I have been using Standard Heating & Air for many years. Tim and Rebecca Sharpe run a first class company, always polite, always professional, always on time. They do what they say they will do when they promise it. Tim has been in heating & air his whole life, working with his father as a young kid. He knows what he is doing and he will never lie to you. I trust them completely! I use them personally for my own home and many of my real estate colleagues and clients always call Standard!

We moved into a very old farm house 2 years ago and Standard Heating and Air has been there with us from the initial inspection of our system and duct work to anything we have needed to get our system up and running efficiently and effectively to maintaining it! I originally called Standard Heating & Air Conditioning to get a quote on a new air conditioning and heating system. The reason I did this is that the business that I had been using for the past 6 years had told me that I needed to replace my unit because it had gotten so old that they couldn't even put more freon into the unit. They said my electric bill would be extremely high this coming winter. So, I decided to get 3 additional quotes on a new system.

The owner of Standard Heating & Air Conditioning showed up at my house and I explained why I was asking for a quote. He asked me if I wanted him to check the system and I said, "Sure, why not!"

After checking my unit he told me that there was nothing wrong with the unit and that it had plenty of freon in the system. He advised me to wait to replace the unit until something was really wrong with it.

I was flabbergasted! I had been using the same air conditioning and heating company for the last 6 years only to find out that they had lied to me...I could name who they are, but I won't. I will say this, however, they are one of the biggest HVAC companies in town..so beware!

I highly recommend Standard Heating & Air Conditioning...they saved me a lot of money. And, they didn't even charge me for what they did. If you are having problems, give Standard Heating & Air Conditioning a call.
