After some rude and unprofessional customer service. They dispatched another technician out to look at our AC. He was great and went through the unit with attention to detail unlike the last one. Turns out the parts that the first technician was pushing was not needed and we have cool air once again. Also spoke with the owner concerning the experience and about the quote for my secondary unit. He apologized for the actions of his employees and wants to send a more qualified technician out since it already has a existing unit. He stated he will look into the unprofessional customer service. Seems the owner is attempting to right the wrongs of his staff like a business should. Appreciated the call from the owner.

My home insurance company sent Hospitality Heating and Air Conditioning to me when my AC went out. I submitted my request at 5:30pm Wednesday and by noon Thursday my AC was up and running again. Excellent service. Would use again.

Mike was the service technician who came out. He was professional and thorough. He checked our Cooling systems upstairs and down. He checked the vents in several different areas. He explained the problem, solution, and what to look for to make sure the system held freon. I didn't have a specified appointment time but they did let me know they had an appointment a day earlier than scheduled which was appreciated. As a real estate agent, its important to have reliable professionals to refer to my clients. They are now on my list! Thank you Mike and the rest of the team at Hospitality H/A.

This is the best trade that I’ve ever had come to my home. The entire experience is wonderful starting with the dispatch and all the way until the job is completed. They have been to my house three times and to be honest, I wouldn’t want anyone else to service my unit. The last tech, Ron lived up to and beyond you expectations with punctuality, kindness, and quick diagnosis/ resolution to the problem!

I am disappointed with the professionalism of the owner of the company. Several of the employees, who provided phenomenal customer service, explained that he would be reaching out to me, but he never followed through with his commitment. I needed to help understanding a situation regarding a home warranty repair they performed.

The technician was really excellent. He went above and beyond me expectations as a technician is concerned.

In conclusion, I received excellent customer service from everyone except the owner, so I would suggest getting your HVAC/Furnace work done from another business.

Ron Teal was the technician who was sent to repair my HVAC. While I cannot prove my hypothesis, when putting all the information together, it would seem he tried to take advantage of myself and my husband. This company was dispatched to my home by the warranty company. The first red flag was him remarking on my medical degree. The next red flag was when he completed his inspection, I asked him about how much he thought it might cost. He responded that it would probably be $750+, but that the unit is 10 years old and that if it cost $2k that I'd be better off getting a new one as the cash value would be $5800. He casually mentioned they get a kick back for selling the new unit so he wanted to give me his card. He showed me photos of what was wrong and even texted me the photos. There was zero mention of mold. After turning in the evaluation of the unit, my warranty company said that they could not authorize the repair because there was mold noted on evaluation and it would be $2k. I was livid! We requested a second opinion. The gentleman from the second company had it working in 15 minutes. There was no mold. I will never use this company again and have let my warranty company know my displeasure! My opinion is that Ron sought to make a quick buck from me and lied to our warranty company. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Update: in response to the below comment, this is not the first time the company has been to my home. They were called earlier this year to fix the unit. If this is an ongoing problem, then why did the first technician miss the issue? To use the words below, does that not imply that this company kicked the can down the road the first time they came to my home?!

And again this company never let me know about the "biologic growth". I was not informed of this information until I spoke to our warranty company.

Second update: 4/15/21: unit is still working without any issues. Will post an update later this summer. So far so good with the 15 minute fix.

Update: 1/19/22: still going strong.

The technician that serviced my ac unit was named Daniel. I received a prompt call before getting to my home. The technician was neat and clean in appearance and worn a mask for safety. I was advised of the problem and made aware of the charges and my options.
I was impressed with the level of professionalism and the other safety checks he made on the unit before leaving my home.
Thank you Hospitality Heating and Air for sending Daniel my way today and getting my AC back on and running well.

Responded to service request within 3 hours, had session scheduled within 3/4 days. Steven and Dustin were polite, wore masks, and were extremely thorough on not only checking on the issues I described but also making sure everything else was working within the system, as intended. They went on to explain what the issue was, what exactly needed to be fixed, and provided evidence of the components they ended up fixing/replacing-- they even made sure to wait till they had proof the issue was actually fixed! I have found my preferred HVAC company in the West Columbia/Lexington area. Thank you!
