We've been with Aire Serv for approx. 3.5 years. They were originally hired to tear out not only our very old a/c unit, but also the entire HVAC system underneath and through the house. They gave us an extremely competitive quote. They were on the job within days of our 0% interest approval (Aire Serv advised Wells Fargo was one of the lenders many of their clients worked with) and we were soon up and running. What a difference! The thermostat actually reads the interior temp and cycles off and on like it is supposed to. All the vents have air being forced out and actually cool or heat the rooms very, very well! Wow! Best of all, our electric bill has decreased significantly, seeing as the unit is running more efficienty now.

Great service, amazing response times and honest advice about what my home needed. They replaced a whole unit for me in the dead of summer with almost no time in between my old unit dying and the new one coming in, they even cut in a new floor register to help the master room get cooler because it was several degrees different from the rest of the house. (They even took the flush mounted wood one I bought to match my other vents and cut everything to fit it) Their techs are courteous and timely. Will absolutely use this service for my HVAC needs.

We have Service plan and had a new thermostat installed back in 2020, very professional, Our AC unit stopped working this past Friday 8/12/2022, my husband called them late in the afternoon, they were there within the hour, 5 stars there. Our unit is old years past its recommended time. Technician was clear to what was wrong and offered us a couple of different options, from repair to replacement. He was very honest and courteous to our needs. We decided to replace our unit due to age of our system and they are installing today, they followed up with us over the weekend and 1st thing Monday let us know they could install today... Highly recommend AirServ and invest in their service plan too... 5 stars..

Update 2-18-23 I just want to compliment Harry, Kelley and James again. If you need them to check out an issue they will talk with you on the phone and answer questions or come right out. I have used them for about 8 years now and continue to recommend them when asked about an HVAC company.
We have been using Aire-Serv for about 5 years. The staff from the office managers to the technicians are always professional and friendly. They have installed a new HVAC in one large ranch style house for me and I was very pleased. They did an excellant job of explaining what they were doing and how they would do the HVAC install. They were quiet, and cleaned up everyday after the job was finished. I felt the cost was reasonable.
Aire Serv has also done smaller jobs in my condo. They usually are able to come the day you call or within 24 hours. All of the technicians are polite, professional, don't mind answering questions and explain what they are doing and what might have caused the problem. They also wear shoe protectors which is important to me. I highly recommend them and would not consider using anyone else.

After numerous calls to American Home Shield. They couldn't get anyone out for almost 5-7 days! My house temperature was 89 and climbing. So, I called Aire Serv. They do the maintenance on our system. Harry responded quickly and got us a technician to come out the same day and resolved our air conditioning problem. James the technician was very professional, polite, and explained what was wrong and what he did to repair the system. He complied with our need for masks as we have medical issues. Will highly recommend them for air conditioner/ HVAC solutions. Thank you so much.

I believe in routine maintenance. Aire Serve did a system repair for us as a follow up on another company’s installation. They got the manufacturer to cover the cost of materials as part of the equipment warrantee. Aire Serve has a semi-annual inspection maintenance program that we use. I am impressed with their service and feel confident in recommending them.

After I spent $500 on Freon two weeks ago my A/C is not working again. The person in the office said I have a freon leak, but the tech never informed me about that. I would have never had him add freon, if it was leaking. The tech didn't give me a copy of the invoice I signed, he said he would email it to me. Never received the email & all of the sudden the invoice states I didn't want the leak repaired which Tech never mentioned. The invoice only showed the price. ***Beware this must be their way to get you to spend more money*** SCAM***I will let my family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers know how they do business.

Our A/C went out, and they sent a technician out to take a look and give us an estimate. $300 later, the “estimate” was just a lump sum amount with no cost breakdown (parts, labor, etc). It was over $2000. We said we needed to think about it and then later called to ask for a cost breakdown (which is what an estimate actually is… not just a random verbal amount with no other info). The guy who answered said “we don’t do that.” I asked what he meant and he said they do not provide a cost breakdown, period. That is insane. I told him I couldn’t justify paying thousands of dollars if he was refusing to tell me why that was the cost, and he just said “I understand.” It seems to me like this business makes its money off these $300 “estimates.” I could never recommend a business that quotes huge prices and refuses to explain them.

I have used Aireserve of Central SC for years. They have always provided great service from answering the phone, setting up appointments, keeping appointments, to communicating what the problem is without exaggerating or overselling, and completing the repairs in a timely fashion, all at a reasonable price. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.
