I cannot say enough good things about Chris Hosch and Reliable Heating & Air! We have used Reliable several times over the past years and will continue to do so when we have an HVAC need. When our old system died last year right before a cold streak was headed our way, Chris did everything he could to get our new system in place before the weather hit and in time for holiday hosting. Not only is Reliable prompt and responsive, they did everything in the highest-quality, yet most cost-effective way possible. True professionalism, including taking the time to walk us through very clearly what was needed and what was done. Chris was prompt, professional, and thorough throughout my experience with him. My A/C system went down and he arrived within an hour of my call. He inspected my entire system to ensure the repair was made correctly and that the system was at 100% prior to him leaving. He verbally walked me through the entire process and even discussed preventative measures I could take to ensure the system continues to function properly. Highly recommended.

Our A/C stopped working on a hot Saturday afternoon. I called Reliable, and Chris, the owner, was at our house within an hour. He walked me through the troubleshooting every step of the way. When he discovered that the capacitor had gone bad, he showed me how it had lost its voltage. Then he showed me the voltage on the new capacitor. He had us up and running in less than an hour. This guy is knowledgeable about his work, he is passionate about helping his customers get top-notch service and parts. He also emphasized that the new capacitor was made in the USA. Five stars, two thumbs up!

I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have found this company. I urgently needed the AC at my place of business back up and running on a typical stifling hot SC summer day. After the original Heating and Air company I had scheduled canceled my appointment I attempted to contact several other HVAC contractors who were also unavailable, but fortunately for me I found Reliable Heating and Air. My experience was made easy by speaking with Chris, because he loves what he does and is very professional. I had many questions since it was my first time purchasing an air conditioner alone. The day of install he came early to discuss what I had purchased. He and his men were quick taking out the old unit and replacing the new one. Called Chris at 11:30 pm and left a message for an emergency issue. He returned my call shortly before 7 am on a Sunday. I explained I had water dripping through the ceiling below the air handler, he said he would be at my house in 30 minutes and he was true to his word. He unplugged the air handler’s water drain, cleaned the coils and checked all Freon pressures and had the system back on line In very short order.
