Anyone thinking of using this company, please read this review first.

In the beginning of November we tried to turn our heat on. The thermostat was working, but the heat would not turn on, and the breaker kept tripping, so we contacted this company on a recommendation from a family friend. A tech came out on November 4, and said all that was wrong with our furnace was the gas control valve was cut off and there was a staple in a high voltage wire. Saturday November 7, the heat came on for the first time since the repairs and by 7am the house smelled like gas. Dominion came out to the house and shut the gas off, and using a detector found that the gas control valve was leaking. Carbon monoxide was detected inside the house, and was 300 in the garage. I called, and a new tech came out to the house on November 10, I told him about what had happened over that weekend, that the first tech had missed a gas leak, and that there had been carbon monoxide in our house. He replaced the gas control valve and told me the furnace was fine and safe to run, however, he didn’t rewire the thermostat before he left so, my thermostat was not working. I was not going to give them a third chance, so I called another company, and I’m so thankful that I did. The tech that came out and fixed my thermostat, and told me that the carbon monoxide leaking back into the house meant my heat exchanger was bad AND MY FURNACE WAS NOT SAFE TO RUN. He also was the first to tell me our furnace was 22 years old, and I needed a whole new system. I was skeptical, so I contacted 2 more companies and got a second and third opinion, both of which confirmed, my heat exchanger was bad, my furnace WAS NOT SAFE TO RUN, and I needed to replace the whole furnace. My dad tried to contact the owner on my behalf, but he never responded.

I trusted that this company was competent. I paid them $510. They missed a gas leak, a cracked heat exchanger, and told me my unit was safe to run when it wasn’t. They never mentioned the age of my unit, or that I would need to replace it. They left loose ends, and they put my family and me in potentially dangerous situations more than once.

I am not writing this review to be spiteful. My goal is to inform other potential customers. Maybe this was just an isolated incident, but it is an incident that I hope you will take in to consideration before using this company.

This company was given to me by my home warranty company. First they took a week to come out and diagnose the problem and put more freeon in my A/C unit outside. Then within three days the coil in my heat pump went out and it took over two weeks for them to come out and fix that. They then discovered the compressor outside had gone out. Now I am still waiting for them to come out and either replace or fix my A/C compressor. We have now been without Air Conditioning for over a month with the tempetures over 90 degrees. My three daughters have had to sleep on couches or the floor during this time as well.

Customer service was poor. Owner was unwilling to source a zone damper on a home built in 2012, stating that someone in town has it, but since it wasn't one of his distributors, I should find who built the home and have them replace. Owner became confrontational, and refused to refund full service plan 30 days into contract. Definitely not strong service. I figured that a professional HVAC company should be able to fix a simple problem, not let it linger for over three weeks before throwing in the towel.

Had a great experience with HVAC Repairs. The staff at the office called to schedule an appointment, then called to tell me the technician was on his way(early even). The technician arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem, went and got parts, and then came back and installed them. Very satisfied all around!

Used this provider because they were assigned by our home warranty company, so we didn’t have much choice. Front desk staff and technician were friendly. Technician replaced a faulty relay. Fast-forward one week, we began experiencing the same problem. Called A different service provider, bypassing the warranty company. New technician came out, and said the previous technician had situated the new relay in such a way that it was getting soaked with condensation and shorting out.

We contacted them on a Monday about our heat pump not working. Everyone we spoke with was really nice and seemed to want to solve our problem. Apparently we had an unusual issue because it took 3 different people coming out multiple times over the week to diagnose the problem and get us an estimate. So 5 business days just to diagnose the problem, then 5 more business days to actually fix the problem. Bottom line- I totally understand that we had a difficult problem and sometimes those take extra time, but we were without heat for two weeks which was a Major strain. They were understanding and seemed to be knowledgeable. I'm ultimately happy with the repair and how respectful the repairmen were of our property (part of the repair was adding an air return inside the house), but they lost stars because it took longer than it seemed like it should have.

Had a home warranty service repair. Both techs were nice and professional, however, my wife and I were not satisfied with the overall work and the billing practices.

They did a great job and even came out and fixed a problem that popped up a year later, without charge.

Technicians are professional.
Billing practice is to nickle and dime you.

Their techs don't know what they're doing!!!
