True professionalism and excellent workmanship are on full display with this company. I purchased an older home on Seabrook Island and recently had the HVAC system replaced, including attic ductwork, by Island Mechanical Services. Every person at Island Mechanical, including office staff, technicians and the business owner, have been very friendly, professional and responsive to my questions. After a site visit, HVAC options were clearly explained to me. Work began on time and was completed within the projected timeframe. Job cleanup was perfect. Island Mechanical prefers to use American Standard equipment as it is the best option for enduring harsh, coastal conditions. With this company I got no delays, no surprises... just exceptionally good service. I cannot imagine a better choice for homeowners in the Seabrook-Kiawah Island area.

Green Dot came out to assess, diagnose & provide an estimate on the cost to repair/replace parts whose malfunction was causing one of my systems to generate electric bills three times normal costs. Both technicians - Matt & Mike - answered my numerous questions & agreed to conduct a deeper assessment of the situation based upon an Energy Audit & usage stats from Berkeley Electric. Once problem w/my blower was identified, they provided information to help me weigh the relative merits of replacing an expensive part of my 14 year old system versus investing in a new system, and at no time did I feel unduly pressured in one direction or another-both we’re both professional & courteous throughout this process.
