I think AGL is superior. We bought our home in Charleston a year ago and decided to keep AGL on the recommendation of the previous owner. Could not be happier with the service and professionalism of their people.

Joshua was excellent! Diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and accurately, explaining the details and the most likely cause, even showing the damaged part. Signed up for the semiannual maintenance program a couple years ago, because we live closeby to their warehouse, and the techs have always done a great job. Before leaving they always give us a quick breakdown of what they checked out and the overall condition, which puts us at ease because it feels like we can trust them. Our HVAC is less than 3 years old, so no problems with it so far, but if it’s well-maintained from the beginning you can extend its life and maximize its efficiency, plus having the service contract gives you a discount on repairs if you ever need them, so it pays for itself in multiple ways. Besides nobody wants their a/c going out in the middle of the summer.

Andrew spent a lot of time reviewing options for new HVAC systems and providing the cost/benefit of more efficient Trane models. He ultimately recommended and installed a system with great (but not the highest) efficiency.

Leading up to the install, Andrew proactively communicated what would happen, when it would happen, and what his potential concerns were. Andrew was on top of the details so that I didn’t need to worry and I didn’t have to babysit.

Employees were friendly, professional and efficient. The HVAC replacement was done on time, on budget, and hassle free. I highly recommend AGL and will use them again when it’s time to replace the current system (in 20yrs!).

Replaced HVAC system and new duct work. Ricky was great to work with on the modifications I wanted to make. The crew that did the install (Patrick and Will) did great too and answered all my questions, being an Engineer I was very involved with the install.

I highly recommend Ricky and the entire AGL team. They recently installed all new duct work and a new unit on our renovation. Knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant and easy to work with. They go the extra mile and then some!
