    Josh is great! 1hr Heating and air is great! We always choose to work with them on all our hvac needs. The cost is up there but all hvac work is so it is definitely “fair” for the market price-wise. They explain everything! They helped educate me about things to increase the life of our new heat pump and best way to help air foe in the house. Excellent!

    One Hour really came through for our family. They were on time for every appointment. The technicians were professional and took the time to listen. When there was a miscommunication regarding repairs, they made it right and did so quickly. We were so pleased with the work they performed on our primary residence we called them back soon after to replace the heating/cooling system at our rental property. Highly recommend One Hour!

    I called for my girlfriend when her A/C went out on a Wed. evening and they said they could come the next day between the hours of 5-7pm. I see in the comments they gave many people the same type of two hour window. Not sure how that equates to One Hour Heating & Air. Only guess for why the two hour arrival window is because of their guarantee that if they are even a minute late, the service is free. By giving a two hour window this only guarantees they won't ever have to honor such a claim. Seriously, how can they be a minute late with a two hour arrival leeway? Anyhow, they were nice on the phone and the service tech was nice. However the $79 service fee delivered an estimate of over $580 for two parts to get the A/C running. (Contactor & transformer) But they marked it down to $433 noting a discounted price. Even emphasizing this discount by making a point to write the regular price in one column, and the discounted price in another. Also making note "as a professional opinion" to replace the entire unit which their boss would call to set up an appointment. Instead I told my girlfriend I would take the next day off work and fix it myself. Total cost I paid for both parts from local HVAC supplier was a grand total of $39.85. Yes, the same two parts they were going to replace at a "discounted price " of $433 was less than $40 retail. Now I understand they need to make a profit, all businesses do and they probably run a 30-35% overhead... But their 10x markup was absolutely ridiculous. If I paid $39.85 retail, their cost is likely around $20. Worse however was making a point to write down the so called "discount". Long story short, I got it running myself. After which, my girlfriend reminded me the techs boss was coming the next day to quote on replacing everything. I told her to call and cancel as I knew it would not be anywhere near competitively priced considering what they tried to charge her for two simple parts. Besides there was no immediate need for replacement. When she did call and explained that I paid just $39.85 for the same two parts they wanted $433 for, the boss said "well we charge more because we guarantee the parts". Guaranteeing simple electronic parts for a year does not justify the 1000% markup. Never mind for what they wanted to charge I could buy the same parts every year for the next 10 years if for some crazy scenario they broke that often. But those parts would never fail year after year. In fact, it was 10 years plus before the original parts gave out. I don't know if this was all due to dealing with a woman or they just regularly mark up parts 1000% over retail. Whatever the reason I would call around for better pricing.

    Josh did a fantastic job. He cleaned out all the leaves from the bottom of my A/C unit, cleaned the unit and checked everything. He performed great with the Hesting unit too. He was very courteous and professional.
