This review covers the process from research thru quote acceptance. Matt was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, accessible and had great follow thru. Matt did a thorough pre-assessment and provided a variety of options without trying to upsell me. Authorized was not the low bidder, but the quality of the interaction so far has been impressive. To me, having such good comfort and confidence level with this contractor, while an intangible, is worth the $$ premium.

UPDATE ao 9/28/20:
Installation of 2 complete replacement Trane XL16i AC/Gas furnace systems, complete replacement and balancing of the downstairs duct system, and improving the intake side for the second floor unit, were all completed 9/23, taking just 3 days. Juan and his install team were SUPERB. The 2nd floor was especially challenging, necessitating using the enlarged intake duct port to get the old unit out and the the new unit into a very cramped attic space. Everything came together perfectly, and was totally stress free (for me at least).

Came off without a hitch, with no mess, no damage, both systems working perfectly, and very quiet operation inside and out. I’m extremely satisfied with the result!

My heat pump went out in the coldest month of winter. They came out quickly for a quote on a new pump. They were very gracious to explain everything we asked about and worked to get me the best value on best type of unit for my home.

Authorized heating and air has been coming out every fall and spring for many years to provide preventative maintenance to our HVAC unit. This fall, Gary discovered a faulty (worn out) part in the unit. The part was not available in Greenville, so had to be ordered. It came in promptly and Gary returned to install it. Of note he is the person that installed this system new many years ago! I highly recommend this company. The office staff has worked with me and my work schedule to get things done. They communicate well in making appointments and letting us know what is to be expected. Excellent all the way around!

We have been a customer since 2009. They have done maintenance on our two systems twice a year. We always are pleased when Gary comes to check out our systems. He is personable, thorough, fair and always listens to his customers. We highly recommend Authorized Heating and Air and Gary.

Called on Saturday morning with one unit pushing out hot air. Gary came out right away. Before he came he explained the off hours charges to ensure we still wanted him to come out. The charge was reasonable for a weekend and Gary had the unit up and running within an hour. Have been using Authorized for over 20 years because of their professionalism and reasonable rates

Authorized Heating & Air installed my Heat Pump several years ago and have been doing my maintenance on it. The come twice a year to do the maintenance for one low price. I've only had to call them once during all this time for a service call. They were there rapidly and repaired some lightning damage. These people are courteous and experienced. I would recommend them to anyone who wants someone reliable!

Authorized Heating & Air installed my Trane system 24 years ago and have serviced it twice a year since. They have had to replace the exterior fan motor once and the interior fan motor once. Both repairs were fast and reasonable. The technicians that have installed, repaired and serviced our system, these many years, have been polite, professional and personable gentlemen.
I will continue to use them and recommend them to friends, family and everyone else!

Gary did a great job onsite. Also, the receptionist was very polite and caring. The people at Authorized Heating and Air always take good care of our family. They do not try to sell you unnecessary services.
