Wow! I am speechless over the service this company provides. They did my father’s home and aunts as well. I just had my AC unit replaced and they were ON it from minute one! Just a quick call to Rob and he was out there the next day. Parts ordered and a new unit installed in a few days… AMAZING! Technicians Glenn and Kevin were incredibly professional and left the place cleaner than it was to start. I highly recommend this company for fast reliable and courteous service. Took the old unit out and were super folks the whole time.

I have used AC Heating and Air for the last 15 years-in two houses. They have replaced 3 units overall, and I get the service agreement annually. They are super responsive, super knowledgeable and fair priced. They are always on time and very thorough! Chris is my tech and he is especially awesome-very informative and very skilled. I would never use anyone else!! Rob is the tech that helps me with replacement units-always friendly and provides options. Recommend them to everyone for new units, new ductwork, service twice a year and emergencies.

Hello my name is Joe Boyd and live in Mount Pleasant SC. I have used AC Heating & Air for many many years. They have serviced all my AC units at my home and office buildings, and have installed various units (small and large) through out the years. They are an excellent company and would highly recommend them, whether you need service or a new unit (or duct work). One thing in particular is that they seem to have the same people for many years, and thus you get to know them and they know you - and your systems. Their turnover is low. A lot of companies it seems technicians come and go and you never know what you are going to get, but not with AC Heating and Air. They are dependable and consistent. I have never had any problems with them. They are extremely responsive and always arrive on time, or, if something unforeseen has come up they will call you and let you know. The technicians and installers are great, and so are the people who answer the phone and schedule the service. Their scheduling is excellent; they have their act together. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is extremely competitive. In fact, I would say it's lower than most - especially when you consider the quality of work. The price/benefit ratio is definitely better than anyone else I've used. I am 71, have had a few houses, 2 office buildings, and managed engineering and maintenance departments at manufacturing facilities in different locations. So I have had a lot of experience with different HVAC companies. So trust me when I say these people are good - they are!

Excellent service. The most knowledgeable Hvac company I have had the opportunity to work with. They have done my personal house as well as my residential projects. They are always educating me on the importance of humidity control and equipment maintenance. I have become a better builder by working with Bobby and his staff. They are constantly improving their service and products they provide to keep all of their clients feeling great inside their homes. I look forward to many more years working with AC Heating & Air.

AC Heating and Air Conditioning is the best locally owned and operated heating and air conditioning business in Charleston. The service technicians are friendly, knowledgeable and provide outstanding customer service to the clients. I would highly recommend this company.

Deeply regret using this company. Had a yearly maintenance agreement yet the technician did not clean the unit or top off freon as stated in agreement. Had to bring in another company that said the unit was filthy and likely the cause of the problems with the unit. A/C stopped working completely and each technician had a different diagnosis. Then they tried to charge $260 an hour for two people to tear up the walls after declaring wires were chewed by rodents. New company did not see evidence of that at all. Takes an entire week to book technicians. Horrible experience, poor service, beware.

Initially my experience was a difficult one, see my post below: Once the owner read my review I was promptly contacted by him. He admitted that there was an issue with the service visit and offered to refund my diagnostic fee (which he promptly did). In addition he offered a no cost inspection and cleaning of both of my units. Because of this followup it shows how the owner does care and I promptly changed my rating to a 5 star. Thank you.

June of 2014 I was in need of a replacement of the bulb on my RGF Guardian Air unit. I located AC's name from RGF's web site listing them as a supplier, so I contacted them. They dispatched a tech on July 1. He photographed the model number of the unit and told me that he would contact me with the price of the replacement before one was ordered. Days elapse and no response, I proceed to contact their office multiple times and spoke with a few different people, this was a joke and was given a run around with no answer as to a price or when the tech would return.

I proceed to do research myself and ordered the replacement and completed the repair myself.

I can't thank AC Heating and Air enough. I have been using them for several years. Whenever I call they get back to me immediately and usually have someone come out that same day. It is so wonderful to have a company that I can trust. Thank you truly for all of your help.

These guys are professionals, especially at fixing others work. Most residential HVAC companies have one answer, “you need a new unit”. Bobby spent the time diagnosing the actial issue & solved everything while not losing focus on cost. GREAT JOB!
