5 Star was prompt and kept me informed when tech would arrive.
Tech cleaned and maintained my A/C units. He let me know that everything was in order, said he would send the invoice and was off to his next appointment

I have been working with 5 Star and Stephen for about 6 months now. What a wonderful company. "Honesty and Professionalism" from top to bottom. Would highly recommend anyone in the Charleston region use them for HVAC needs.

Service was fine but I thought it was really weird for the technician to request a tip at the end of service. I'm not sure I would use them again.

Update: the owner called and spoke to me. He was very nice and apologetic. Apparently it is common to tip for AC maintenance? I had no idea so I guess that is on me.

Steven and his crew are the best. Before installing a new unit Steven asked your concerns, he doesn’t just look at what you have and give a quote. Then he takes measurements, concerns and what you expect in, does research and gets back to you with options! My bill has come down approximately 500.00 a month. You get what you pay for!

We have been using Five Star Heating and Air for various repair projects over the years and recently used them to install a new HVAC unit, duct work & vents, and new thermostats. Stephen sent John to my house to flush out and provide general maintenance to my gas water heater and to do a yearly maintenance on our one year old a/c units. John was punctual and was the utmost professional, showing me what he was doing during the process and why. The change in the water that was flushed from our water heater from the beginning of the process to the end was evidence enough for me that it's worth doing regularly. My a/c installer has never offered to maintain the units we bought from him so Stephen will get that business from here on out. So nice to have someone you can depend on and Five Star is just such a business.

Stephen and his service technician came to my home for an annual service. They certainly went above and beyond what their competitors have done for me in the past. My yard has numerous trees and the outside unit had a fair amount of leaf build up in the base that the other companies said they couldn’t get out. Stephen took his time and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 5 Star HVAC to anyone and will continue to do so. These guys have my continued business.
