Cost per gallon for propane from a competitor was quoted as $2.90. Called Petro to get better price and they quoted me HIGHER than what I was paying - $6.40 per gallon. You're kidding me!!!! Your propane isn't twice as good as everyone else's.

Came to the house right away to investigate a Strang noise in the heating system. Turned out to be air in a pipe. The guys couldn't have been more polite and professional. Well done.

***WARNING- DO NOT USE THIS OIL COMPANY!!!*** I have been mistreated from the beginning. When I informed them that I would be converting to gas heat back in the beginning of 2014 and asked them not to fill my tank late in the spring, they didn't work with me. In August 2014, my oil tank was 3/4 full and Petro shows up to fill it. By chance, I happen to be looking out the window and stop the delivery. My oil tank was to be removed the very next day because the conversion to gas was taking place. In addition to losing over $750 worth of oil this month when my tank was removed, Petro wants to charge me an additional $399 early termination fee, and now, on my last bill there is an another additional charge of $100 Premium/Promotion fee. It doesn't stop there. They are now harrassing me by phone for payment. I have paid them on a payment plan in the amount of $250 a month, every month, yet I am still harrassed for payment by phone, after regular hours. This is the most egregious business I have ever dealt with in my life. Please stay away from this company and take your business elsewhere!!!

Joe was extremely helpful. He found that the oil burner was fine but identified the weird smell as electrical and suggested I call an electrician which I did and once the electrician came he did identify the problem.

Auto-refill customer for 3 years and petro ghosted my ass. After calling for a week I called the sales dept and got right through. Demand my account be closed and said person was like "ok it's closed." 30 seconds. We're moving into Patriot Oil BYE FELICIA

Technician was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. I was very impressed with his level of knowledge and professionalism.

I am finishing my basement for in in law apartment and wanted to convert from oil heat to gas heat. Per National Grid they recommended Petro Oil. I contacted Petro in September 2016 and had a salesman named Andy Lucas call me. Andy came out in September 2016 and started the process of converting over to gas heat. I advised Andy that I need this done by January 1, 2017 as my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren where moving in and needed to be out of their apartment by January 1. As of today January 3, 2017, I still do not have the conversion done. Every time I call Andy I get a song and a dance. National Grid came out on December 6, 2016 to put the line in and I called Andy that day and he said he would have the plumber call me that week. Needless to say the plumber did not come out until two weeks after on December 20, 2016 and stated that the conversion would be done before January 1, 2017. Until this conversion is done my contractor cannot finish the job and my daughter had to renew her lease on a month by month basis until this conversion is done. I would not recommend Petro Oil to anyone based on my experience. I am ready to ask for my money back from Petro and go somewhere else. There are plenty of plumbers out there that would take this job. The plumber that Petro sent out stated that he need to build the furnace which is going to be a wall unit. I have two plumber friends and a cousin that is a licensed plumber and they stated that there is nothing to be built to the unit. It can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowe's and comes out of box and may be a little bit of assembly.

Boiler went out! No hot water on 4th of July weekend! They were there within the hour!

Speed Queen sent them to fix the broken Dryer they sent me. They came and broke something else, then instead of billing Speed Queen because it was under their warranty they billing me for a half hour work $190, And the Machine still broken.

3/14/18 Update: They fixed the problem so i am happy now!

Arrived early, was very thorough in fixing the problem. Courteous and professional.
