I originally met them at the RI home show and told them I wanted to replace my old oil system with a new propane combi unit. They came out to look at the job. The proposal wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive. The proposal was very detailed which I liked. They came out when they said they would be here and started the job. There were a few hiccups but there always is. They tackled them and forged on. The job was complete in 2 days like they said it would be. That night I had a small issue and called them, they were there first thing in the morning to fix the problem. Now it is running as it should be.

They were very detailed oriented and did a awesome job. They were very clean, polite and respectful. I will definitely use them when I am ready for heat pumps. Yes I would definitely recommend them. I don't think you will be disappointed

Excellent experience with Martel. It was easy to schedule a convenient time for an estimate, and Kyle provided an extremely thorough, professional, knowledgeable assessment and recommendation based on our desire for an upgraded water heater. He also included a clean up of old, unused messy piping that was crisscrossing our basement. The turnaround for the written proposal and scheduling of the service was also quick and efficient. Chris and Jake performed the full replacement and installation, removing an old water tank and replacing an oil boiler system, taking us from two systems down to one efficient tankless system, cleaning up the old piping, and had the whole job completed in one day. They were super friendly and professional and left everything completely clean, and gave us an awesome, modern system that we couldn't be happier with.

Martel Plumbing is awesome they come when they say they’re going to come They do all the work that they say they are going to do. Martel Plumbing does a great job and they are very neat and always clean up after themselves. I also had them put in a shower for my clawfoot tub did a wonderful job I would definitely recommend them for any of your plumbing needs. Called Martel Plumbing this morning because the cold water was leaking above the shut off line in back of the tub they came in less than two hours and fixed the problem love this company

I had Martel plumbing give me a quote of $1600 for a gas leak repair and a kitchen sink installation. I ended up paying $1160 for the gas leak to be repaired and $975 for the kitchen sink installation.
There were two more leaks found in the gas line and I don’t believe they would have been found if not for the town inspector calling Martel about the pressure test not passing.
The kitchen sink was straight forward. Pull the old one out, put the new one in, and change it from two drains to one drain. The plumber took it upon himself to remove the hot water bypass valve rendering the $500 circulating system useless. He claimed “I did not know what it was.” I was able to get them to bring it back and he reinstalled it following day before it was discarded.
In closing Martel was friendly and fast to get the work done. If not for the town inspector catching the pressure test, I would still have a leak on my gas line. If not for myself having enough knowledge about my plumbing I would have a 500 dollar hot water circulating pump not working.
I did place a call to the office in regards to paying so much over the quoted price. I was told they would look into it and get back to me, but I have yet to hear back.
The last call I received from Martel was to schedule a service on my gas hot water furnace for which I was quoted 800 dollars. I will not be scheduling this.
After paying $600 above the quoted $1600 I will not use and would not recommend using Martel Plumbing in the future.

All of the staff at Martel Plumbing are personable and knowledgeable about their craft. Kyle was the first come to estimate the conversion from oil to propane. On time, clearly explains the options and listens patiently to all the questions we had. The crew of Chris, Jake, Darien and Zach were also on time and very respectful of our home. Malik, the air conditioner specialist, did a wonderful job of taking down the air ducts so the work could be done. He was right back as soon as the boiler was installed. The communication between the office and staff is phenomenal!!

We had a gas leak at the house after a new meter was installed. After fighting with the gas company, I called Martel Plumbing and Heating and they sent someone right out to us. Andy was very thorough with the pressure testing through the whole house. He explained everything he was doing and the reason behind it. He located the issue and fixed it promptly, then followed up with pressure testing everything again. The office staff was amazing to work with and took care of contacting the gas inspector and gas company to have our gas turned back on so I wouldn’t have to deal with them for a fourth time. I would highly recommend this company and the plumber Andy, who was sent to help us.

This is the second time we employed Martel. We were very satisfied with our new boiler installation in 2022 for price, professionalism and workmanship. We therefore went to Martel for an estimate for ductless A/C installation and again they were best on price and quality workmanship. I recommend them for numerous reasons as they came through for us. After getting home from vacation I noticed my water heater was leaking. On a recommendation from a friend who has used Martel for years I called and they responded. The price quoted for replacement was $600 over the other bid. I get it. Different businesses. I was told the total to replace was $3500. It was a Wednesday and was told it could be installed on that Saturday. I got the quote in an email. $4200 and could not be installed for another week. I wrote back to ask why all this had changed and got no response. My new water heater is being replace tomorrow by another company for $2900.

Service tech was great! Friendly, helpful and a fast worker. Left the work area clean. I'd welcome him back to do work at my house anytime. The company was very responsive to my service call request, which was on very short notice. I appreciate that they made it work for me.

My experience with Martel was special. I had my boiler installed as well as a heat pump air conditioner unit. From Jim Jessica Ian and all the workers they were all attentive timely and never left until I was totally satisfied. I recommend and will always use Martel for all my service needs.
