Jay Gill Plumbing & Heating

A few years ago I had issues with the heated sidewalk at my business. When the place was built, the original installer(private subcontractor not Jay Gill) did a horrible job configuring the radiant floor heat and sidewalk heater control. That original installer did not install the required outdoor sensors, did not even connect the control unit to the boiler control! Plus many other things. After my heated sidewalk froze up and busted, I paid dearly to have it replaced. After flushing and replacing the lines with antifreeze, the sidewalk was still not working as it should. Here to find out, the private subcontractor did not install a lot of things correctly. I do know a little bit about HVAC (enough to be dangerous which makes certified techs cringe to hear) but I am not great with electrical configuration. I called Jay Gill plumbing and they arrived promptly, recognized the horrible installation job of the private subcontractor, and very quickly fixed the issues. The tech was very knowledgeable, professional and informative. The price was reasonable and the system has worked flawlessly since then. I highly recommend them!!

This business is both professional and friendly! It’s so hard to find a company theses days that show up on time and work hard. I had a few issues getting my new furnace installed. Needed a few things changed out and ran out of fuel in the meantime. They were extremely understanding and had to returned 3 different times to complete the job. But they were very flexible and fast about scheduling the follow up appointments. I wouldn’t use any other company for my heating/cooling issues in the future!

Had my seasonal cabin looked at to convert to heating year round. Never received an estimate. Called a few times after no response. They apologized and said they had been busy. Called again about a month later. I told them that if they weren’t interested, to let me know, so I could move on. Called me back awhile later to tell me that they were definitely interested. Never heard back.This went on on for approximately 3-4 months. Had a different hvac guy come out and had an estimate in two days. Not very professional on Jay Gills plumbing part. I’ll pass the word along at the lake…RESPECTFULLY, IN RESPONSE TO JAY’S COMMENT BELOW, GARY WALKED AROUND MY CABIN WITH ME AND PROMISED ME ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS THAT YOU’D PROVIDE ME WITH YOUR ESTIMATE. MAYBE CUSTOMERS AREN’T IN YOUR SYSTEM UNTIL YOU PREPARE AN ESTIMATE, BUT I’M SURE YOU RECALL OUR VARIOUS CONVERSATIONS.DEFINITELY NOT A MISUNDERSTANDING!

Gary has been great. Very professional, on time, and knows what is needed and gets it done quickly. Recommend highly.

A new gas water heater was installed. EXCEPTIONAL work in every way! Bill and Boaz were EXCELLENT, knowledgeable, fast, neat. All of my questions were answered. I WILL call the company with any future installations or repairs.

Called on Monday and they where here Wednesday probably would of been here Tuesday but that was a holiday. Was on time got a notification that he was on his way and was fast at fixing the problem

Jack Gill was prompt, polite, and efficient. I'm glad he will be carrying on his family's business.
