Metro Heating & Cooling

Metro has been handling our heating/cooling for 24 years. They are equally amazing at handling our old furnace as they are installing our new A/C. Our house is 90 years old and you know how difficult it can be to get things just right. We've always loved Metro!

We have been using Metro for our hot water boiler system and air conditioning since the 1980s and only have experienced excellent and timely services from Metro. On this Tuesday our boiler started to leak and Metro very promptly diagnosed the issue and immediately did the repair which was extensive though Metro's promptness minimized the time we were without heat on a cold winter day. Overall, was an outstanding experience. Brady evaluated our home and proposed three options for us, all involving far more efficient and effective furnaces than we have ever had. His assessment finally enabled us, after 20 years of searching for answers, to understand why we were not getting adequate heating and cooling to our second floor, and his proposed options were all designed to help address this problem. The installers, Jake and Taylor, were professional, pleasant, and efficient, installing the new furnace and air conditioner quickly and correctly, cleaning up completely after themselves. We would recommend MEtor highly!

In 2018, Metro installed AC in my attic to push air down into the 2nd floor of my house. They did an excellent job in every way - reasonable price, fast service, professional & very clean. The job entailed cutting holes & installing registers in each room's ceiling, installing a cold-air return in the hall ceiling, ductwork to all, adding thermostat & setting new condenser on a pad next to existing unit outside. In January 2021, they added a heat kit to the attic unit because the furnace/ductwork simply couldn't push enough heat to the 2nd floor. This job inc. installing an upgraded thermostat & new breakers. Unbelievable service, thanks to Josh, Tyler and Jake! I called on a Wed afternoon, Josh called me on Thu morning, stopped over to look at the job on Mon morning & by 10am on Tuesday, the work was done! They were professional, friendly, clean, fast and efficient - my upstairs is toasty warm! I highly recommend Metro - there's no need to be too hot or too cold in your home, give these guys a call!

My A/C stopped working on a 89 degree day. I made a "cold call" to Metro after using Google of heating/cooling places close to my Greentree home. I spoke to Patty, then to Mitch who explained $90 flat fee for diagnosis (no time limit), the tech can do many repairs with inventory on truck, fees vary--he gave me a few common issues/prices. They collect payment upon completion of work and can process pmt on site. Then he said he could have a tech there in 1/2 hour (this was on a Friday afternoon!). Tech arrived promptly (Kevin--very pleasant guy for a very hot day...) and replaced a starter switch (I think I have that right). It took him 20 min total, he processed pmt right at his truck---all in under 1/2 hour. . $215 total. I recommend Metro to anyone who appreciates professional friendly service at very fair prices. I couldn't be more satisfied....and I RARELY write a review, so that says something. Thanks guys! :)

During the hottest part of the year my AC gave out. Fearing that I would have to wait weeks and would need a new unit, I contacted Metro. The very next morning they came out and were able to repair my unit within a few minutes. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and friendly. Thanks, Metro!

They Saved Us!
Coldest day of the year so far and our heater goes out. Called these folks, and they sent technician Jeff, who came out at 5pm on a Thursday and quickly diagnosed and then solved our problem. Of course they charged an after hours fee, but this is not surprising nor unreasonable to me. I have now engaged this firm to perform regular maintenance on my HVAC system as I appreciate their expertise and service quality. RECOMMEND!!
