First time using Max C. Smith and just had an AC service checkup. On time, and job well done.

Came out same day, quickly diagnosed issue, and got the AC unit working again.

Greg was on time and checked my A/C system, filter and thermostat carefully. I was very pleased with the service.

I found Max C Smith Co. by a google search because I was in need of having my AC fixed. I have a two year old unit that was installed by another company and all of the Freon leaked out of it. In trying to use the original company that installed the system it would have been 3 weeks from the first call before they even came out to identify the leak. I spoke with David at Max C. Smith and helped get my system fixed in just 4 days including the time it took to order a replacement part. This was such welcomed news for My family and I, especially my toddler who's room tends to be the warmest in the house. The technician, Paul, who came out and did the job was on-time, professional, and took the time to really explain to me what was going on so I had clear picture of the issue. I could not be happier with the effort from Max C. Smith Co. I immediately signed up for their maintenance agreement because of how great of an experience I had even through an unfortunate situation. I would 100% recommend them for any HVAC work. I could not be more satisfied with their work and service.

I called when my a/c unit would not cool the house. They asked a few questions on the phone and sent someone out the next day. He arrived exactly when they said and took care of the issue in less than an hour. Price was reasonable and a/c is now working. I couldn’t be happier. I called Max C. Smith after waking up to find our aging thermostat wouldn't turn on this morning despite basic problem solving measures. They answered the phone quickly and surprisingly were able to come out same day to take a look. Brian arrived promptly within the time frame they gave me and was kind, courteous, and didn't beat around the bush about anything or try to sell me anything I didn't ask for. He was thorough with inspecting the thermostat and furnace and easily solved the problem (ended up that I just needed to replace the old dated thermostat, which he easily replaced with a smart thermostat I picked up before he arrived, although he did come prepared with other options had I not done that). The price I paid also seemed very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

I couldn’t be happier with the service that Max Smith- but particularly our technician Paul provided. We had a bad experience with a non reputable duct cleaning company- and woke up the next day to our furnace not working. I called Max Smith- and they quickly sent Paul to our home. Within seconds he identified all of the errors of the previous company- did a complete check of the system to ensure that it was working properly- and even taught me the basics of HVAC - and what to look for if the furnace isn’t working- along the way- I was never more impressed with a technician- Paul was very thorough. I highly recommend this company- and I will be a lifelong customer for sure.
