We had no heat when it went to -5 on Christmas. He was so pleasant, gave us super quick response and a a quick repair. Knowledgeable and professional, we highly recommend him!

I was very impressed with Josh and Keith from JDC. They were extremely professional, honest, responsive, and courteous. I had them replace our furnace, install an air cleaning unit, and repair our AC unit though our home warranty.

They did top notch work, always went above and beyond to explain the work, and were very timely with all repairs. Their responsiveness was most impressive, though. These days, it is hard to find companies that are responsive, timely, and that keep appointments. JDC checked off all three, and I appreciate that. I would certainly recommend them, if you need any work done!

Josh is a one of a kind repair guy, he make sure that you are taken care of with the highest quality service. I called him first because my furnace caught on fire he came and repaired it .He explained to me the situation and the cost. He was more concerned about me being safe then the money and that is very hard to find. He installed a new furnace for me about 2 years ago and I haven’t had any problems with it until today. I called him very early this morning because my furnace would not heat up my house and my water pipes were freezing. He return my call very quickly and was very pleasant. He did -support over the phone with me until my issue was taken care of. He was patient and kind and caring. If you haven’t had Or done any business with Josh you don’t know what you’re missing there’s no one to compare. Thanks Josh.

The same day Josh was contacted to look at our unit he managed to squeeze us in the same day! He was honest about our unit needing replaced. We were then scheduled for a new unit the following week! Josh and Keith were on time and didn’t waste any time getting started! They are super friendly, very professional, hard working and outgoing! Josh was able to make time for me when I called with an emergency furnace issue while out of town and I couldn’t speak more highly of my experience with JDC.
He was extremely pleasant and helpful on the phone, met with my neighbour within the timeframe he estimated, and communicated with me when he was on his way.
He didn’t ‘find problems’ to charge me for, said it sounded like a simple fix on the phone and it was. He was also informative and honest about the long term future of my older furnace.
He guarantees his work for 30 days after he completes the job, so you don’t have to worry about temporary fixes or patch jobs that break again immediately afterwards.
(The ‘service not listed’ checkmark in my review is switching out a filthy filter that I hadn’t looked at in years.)
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him, and I know my neighbour also took his card so she could use his services for her own repairs if/when they arise.
I’m always nervous about the process of finding repair companies for home related issues, so it was a huge relief to get this taken care of quickly, easily and honestly so I could stop worrying about coming home to a burst pipe!

I have no problem recommending JDC to anyone. I had an issue with my furnace leaking on my floor to the point of corrosion. I was recommended Phillips Heating at first. I called and technician came and said the issue was just a clogged drain. He then told me he 0 equipment in his van for the job, used Drain-O I had in my basement and poured it in my unit, and used my can of key board cleaner to “fix” the clog. He then told me how my unit which uses R-22 is essentially useless and if they needed to fill it would cost $450.00 just for the first pound, then ~$350.00 per pound after. An hour later I received emails from him for replacement units costing more than $5,000. 3 days passed, my unit completely shuts down.
I immediately googled HVAC Pittsburgh and called JDC to set an appointment. Josh came in took a look at my unit and told me It was low on refrigerant. He opened my furnace and took care of the problem with the drain, ZERO Drain-O needed. He adding the refrigerant to my A/C their price for R-22 was more reasonable and it was the same price per pound. It saved me a lot of time and money. Moving forward I will use them for all my HVAC services. 10/10 Thank you Josh!

Our AC unit died on Wednesday in the middle of a very hot week. Josh, at JDC, immediately worked with us and our home warranty company, and was there the next day to inspect the unit and come up with a plan. After going over our options, we decided it was necessary to install a new unit, and that Saturday, Dominick and Josh were there with the new equipment and had it installed that day despite a rainstorm. They were incredible from start to finish, took the time to talk to us about everything and checked in on us a couple days after to make sure everything was running smoothly. I could not recommend JDC enough.
