Frew Plumbing Heating & AC

Frew Plumbing came and repaired a broken bathroom drain pipe. They were very professional and did a wonderful job. Their prices are very reasonable also. I got a free estimate before any work was done and the final cost was within the estimate. I was very happy with their work.
I will be using Frew Plumbing services for any future repairs.

Our AC unit quit working on a Friday late afternoon when the temperature was nearing 90. A call to the Frew service department resulted in a service technician, Brian, coming out and repairing the unit. I don’t know if the price was competitive, but the service was great and we had a cool weekend!

They replaced all the old copper waterlines in our townhouse. The plumbers Heather and Matt did an excellent job. It took three and a half days during which time they explained everything as they worked and they cleaned up nicely after each day. We would recommend Frew to anyone. We were happy we chose them.

Excellent service! They were on site in a few days of the call. It was for an older boiler heater system that quit working over a really cold snap. They communicated as to everything they were doing and had it repaired quickly. It's working fantastic now. They also were great in explaining what we should be doing to keep it running better. Would highly recommend Frew Plumbing and Heating!!

I used Frew for a couple of jobs at my new house and was not impressed. They first came out to look at a leak in my kitchen ceiling and a dysfunctional toilet. They did a decent job though I thought the bill was perhaps a little steep.

Then I wanted them to install a garbage disposal and look at an issue with our gas lines. They agreed and gave me a quote. Then when I asked for a breakdown of costs between the two jobs they wouldn't give it. Their communication all around was terrible -- they were attempting to reach me at the wrong email address (with a misspelling) for weeks even after I went over it repeatedly with them to check. They didn't think to maybe suggest trying another email address when I had called multiple times after not getting their emails? Not the most brilliant problem-solving. And then finally they said inexplicably they were no longer interested in the work because a handyman put in our garbage disposal in the meantime, even though they never indicated that it was an all-or-nothing situation and the gas lines issue was the much bigger and more expensive job, the main reason (as they knew) I brought them in. In sum: don't work with them unless you want awful communication, arbitrary dealings, and high-ish prices. Not recommended.

This was my second time using Frew and they did not disappoint! My call was answered immediately and Adam arrived the next time. He explained what was causing my water issue and immediately installed a fix. Prices were competitive. Very professional. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have used Frew in the past for plumbing repairs and have always had a great experience. When our furnace of 18 years decided to break on Christmas Eve morning, we were thankful Frew was able to come out. We ended up needing a new furnace and Frew made the process so seamless and easy. The phone call was answered quickly (by a REAL PERSON) referred my problem to a technician accurately. I was promised that a technician would be at my home within 15 minutes- and he was! He diagnosed the problem within minutes, had the replacement part in his truck and we had heat in a half hour or so! Eric, the repairman, even replaced the filter for me from a supply that I had on hand. I don’t know if this firm is the least expensive in town, but when it’s January and the temperature is in the teens, service is more important to me than price. I recommend Frew for your HVAC needs! I needed a gas line added from my basement up to my kitchen to accommodate my new gas stove. Every individual I spoke with and interacted with at Frew was professiona,l competent, and a pleasure to work with on this project. I learned about Frew from the work they did on my brother's house and they did not disappoint me on the work that they did on mine. I highly recommend them and will use them for any future jobs that may come up down the road.

They offered to come to the house the same day that I called! But I was not available, but they came a few days later. They arrived on time, and fixed everything very professionally. I will hire them again.
