A/C stopped working, they sent over Pat and he fixed it!

Lovely company. Used them for the first time in an emergency situation, they are reliable, fair, and extremely knowledgeable. They were able to get out to two different properties experiencing two separate HVAC issues over the coldest weekend of the year. When one fix didn't work, they supplied a plan b to ease mine and my tenant's mind that the issue was being handled. Office staff is lovely. I think her name is Donna? Super sweet. Offers small business type service you can barely find these days. Highly recommend.

I requested a quote to fix my mini ductless AC system which they installed about 3 years ago. I understand that usually there is a fee involved in giving quotes which includes a service charge of $125 plus an hourly charge of $125/hour. Thinking that they are experts, I called them to find out what was wrong with my AC. After 2.5 hours and 2 calls tech support, I ended up spending almost $500 with no solution. The technician himself said that he's not sure why my system was functioning the way it was. That is not acceptable. Perhaps this approach to problem solving is typical for commercial clients, who DO NOT pay attention to what is going on but for me, I spent money for nothing. Will be reporting them to the better business bureau for what it's worth. Incompetent people! My suggestion,look for a contractor who will stand by his work and give you a warranty that you can count on. My neighbor got this system involved and paid more but ended up with a 5 year warranty.

The personnel that installed my new furnace were the best. They came when scheduled, performed their work and cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and answered all of my questions. Good customer service is what people are looking for in a service company.

I found WF Smith after tragic experiences with a General Contractor and his Heating/Cooling SubContractor. We were in a terrible situation and had just paid an excruciating amount for a MASSIVELY oversized system (two actually) and there were no remedies in sight. I researched a lot of other companies and one kept coming up that had the client reputation and services we were hoping for. Dave spent quite a bit of time with us and gave us several options to address our situations. Although ANY resolution was going to be expensive, Dave took the time to walk through each and provide his personal and professional feedback along the way...which is just what we needed. The company worked tirelessly extracting as much of the previous unit, ductwork, and generally drastic mistakes that were made and correcting everything they could set their sights on. I am writing this review because WE (WFSmith and I) knew that it wasnt going to be a simple install and there would be tweaks and corrections or optimizations along the way after install. They kept their word and worked to address any additional issues or fine tuning that needed to be done. We are very happy with our purchase and service, although I would like not to have had to spend any more money, we at least contracted with a very reputable and knowledgeable company and couldnt recommend them more. I just WISH we had known about them before using the subcontractor...we would have been much better off. Hopefully this will help someone looking for Heating and Cooling services before they make a mistake...WF Smith is an awesome company!

I thought they were reputable. But I had a bizarre experience with them, and when I called to speak to one of the 5 owners, they did not respond to a message left with their secretary. One of their mechanics came out for a routine preventative maintenance service call, and said our starter switch was broken and the compressor would not come on. $300 to repair. But the air conditioner was working both before and after he left - actually working perfectly. So bizarre he would claim the compressor would not turn on. And more bizarre that not one of the 5 owners is curious about this.

We were very satisfied using this company. The proposal was well written and everything was completed as stated. The father and son team who did the work were very experienced in HVAC and were able to overcome any problems they incurred . The price seemed to be a little higher than others but the quality , the professionalism, the service and everything else alleviated any pricing issues. I highly recommend this company and only recommend Lennox.
