Adam Mechanical Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing

Adam Mechanical has been servicing our heating and air conditioning for about two years now and I'm very happy with the work done and the professional technicians they sent for service. I also recommend signing up for a Yearly Contract for convenience. Highly recommended.

Further Updates include a new Air Conditioning System installed this week and am greatly satisfied with the service, attention to detail and the ease of the process of install. Highly Recommended!!!

Wes was an excellent technician. He was very knowledgeable and thorough an explained everything he was doing.

Gave a narrow time window and hit it. Kept me informed of timing. Explained everything. Very careful and respectful of property.

Needed new top valve, but other problems were clearly identified and will require a bigger job. Visit to be rescheduled. Technician was sympathetic about the change in plans and the expense.

HVAC heat stopped working and would not restart. Called service at 1 PM on XMAS eve, and they dispatched a tech. Jason showed up in a timely manner, troubleshot and fixed the issue in no time and in a very professional manner. This is what the service should be like!

Having survived the past winter with the new system I had installed in November, 2021, at least I can say that my house is warm. My feelings for the entire ordeal having purchased it / installation isn't so warm.

The salesman (Alex) was charming and all that, but in the end i purchased an $8,100 heating system for $10,000 + dollars and didn't end up with the system I'd ordered. Be that as it may, the system works. But I'm not 100% happy. The system is SO loud that my neighbors have complained (I live on a 2nd floor condo; my unit is in the basement) and I can hear it myself up on the 2nd floor. This "contraption" they sold me is entirely over-sized for the unit it services, and even the County Inspector when he came to certify it said: "what the h*ll did they install here?".

Amusing, if it wasn't such an expensive lesson.

The installation guys were messy, and uncooperative (I am partially handicapped, and had to move my own dryer back into place after they'd moved it "out of the way" for the installation). I also asked them to either use the existing expansion tank that was 3 months old, or leave it behind for me to use in another property if I needed it later. At the end of the day, they informed me "Oh, we already threw it away and the truck is gone".. so I'm not particularly a fan in that respect either. For someone that had a career in the building trade, I don't feel the "stellar service" thing from them at all.

Does the system work? Yes. Would I hire them again? No.
No, i wouldn't.

Ask lots of questions and be firm with your needs if you do.

Steven my technician was on time & extremely polite & courteous. He quietly & methodically got on with the service of my heating system & explained what was done & recommended any maintenance that was required. As I was new to the property, he explained the thermostat and the optimal temperature to keep the system at. I would highly recommend Adam Mechanical & Steven, my technician.

Matt Gallagher explained various alternative that aided making a decision. He was professional & courteous.

Once again, we were very happy with Adam Mechanical's service!
