I called O’Donnell and they were about to send someone out within a day of my call. They figured out what the problem was and repaired it the same day. I am pleased with their services and would use them again.

For the record I wrote the top of the review “RE: Hardcastle in glenside PA” and I specifically wrote my fiancé because that’s who paid you we are at 581 Edge Hill Rd. in Glenside PA so you should know exactly who we are we called and complained and receptionist sent us a copy of the receipt.

Technician (Gary) was friendly and knowledgeable, and was quickly able to remedy my heating problem with my Nest Thermostat. I found the O’Donnell and Sons through the Nest Pro website, and Gary showed the necessary experience with the device. I would recommend and would use again.

Don't bother with these guys. I had to cut out a radiator to replace a section because it was leaking, and they refused to help me. I bought a brand new section radiator (fresh out of the box), and they tried to tell me that there may be liability issues. For what? A brand new radiator? They just want to jack up the price of the entire job by controlling the entire process.

They also charged me $130 on a separate job to tell me that there was nothing they could do for a frozen pipe. They left with $130 and I still had a frozen pipe that I had to fix myself.

Steve B from O'Donnell was our serviceman. He figured out the problem and went to work immediately. he had everything needed, includin replacement valves, on the truck. The job involved a minor faucet leak, but it required going into a crawl space to get access. Steve was professional and efficient. He showed up within the scheduled time window and was finished within an hour.

Quality and affordably priced plumbing service. Courteous and prompt. However, they need to utilize booties and drop cloths. I was surprised to discover muddy footprint stains all over my hardwood floor. Pay attention to the small stuff O'Donnell's!!!!

Gary came out late in afternoon, day after Christmas. He made sure we knew the cost of the emergency repairs, explained what problems were faced and worked diligently and then some to be sure the work was done to correct our issues.

I called O'Donnell's because my furnace failed and I was having trouble finding someone to come out to my house that day (I live in Glenside about 2 minutes from their office). I was told on the phone by someone there that they would come to our house that same day. This was around 1:00PM. By 4:45/5:00 I did not hear anything so I called to find out what the delay was ( I was told I was the third call they had to schedule).

The guy from O'Donnell's said "Oh, I forgot and it didn't come up on my iPad." In shock, I asked if he could still come out. "I can come if you want or I can come tomorrow." I was really upset because I stopped calling places to come service our furnace that day, and now we'd have to go a second night w/ no heat. I told him that it was up to him. He could either come right then, or not come at all because I had Horizon scheduled for the next day. He said "ok" and that was it.

I'm sorry - that is horrible customer service. I was really in need of someone to help us out. Their website says 24 hour emergency service, yet my case wasn't sufficient for them to help me, my wife, and my one year old daughter out in this cold weather.

I just had the NG furnace and central air replaced by O'Donnell & Sons. Thorough and honest diagnosis (of a 22-year-old unit), fair price on the new equipment, and professional and courteous installation. Took care of my home and did everything they said they would do.
