Sila Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical

The Sila team did an outstanding job replacing two full systems (furnance and air conditioner) in our two zone home. They were clean, worked diligently and put in a 12+hour day to get our job finished and give our family air conditioning during a heat wave. They also gave us a very reasonable price for the work. Highly recommend!

I really want to give Sila 5 stars because of how great the initial experience was but that has changed so drastically I have to 180 my score.

I got set up with 3 split unit A/C and the scoping of the project and installation were phenomenal. I was sold on this company. Now as I use my units more I am starting to find issues and even realize that the main unit of my house is faulty and has been since day 1. I had a tech come out to assess all of this and they could do nothing. They said I’d hear from the person who scoped everything out later that day. After 3 days I called and asked what is going on and reception told me they’d contact the person and have them reach out. They checked in with me finally and said that he and a manager would connect with me tomorrow…it has been a week with no contact. I am beyond frustrated and regret not going with one of the other businesses I had scoped the project with. This post sale service is just abysmal.

*updating this review* I had paid $79 cash to the tech just to come out and look at the system to see if it needed to be replaced. He said they only take cash. Now I have a bill in that was sent in the mail for that. I was totally RIPPED OFF. We did not go with this company since we do not own this property and the owner replaced the system. I just wanted it checked out before I went to the owner, because we are good tenants and good people. I had several phone calls from this company inquiring and I had stated that the owner had taken care of it. Customer service is horrendous and rude. I called to clear this up and they would not work with me till I gave them the owners information and credit… seriously! All I wanted was a professional to come out and look at it so I could tell the owner that it needed to be replaced or fixed. That’s it. It shouldn’t be this difficult and the owner is never going to work with this company, I know that for sure, and neither will I. Hopefully neither of you will once you read this. I was completely ripped off, continuously called, and now sent a bill that I had already paid for. They said they would sue me over the $79, please do… bring the tech with you too.

Service was excellent. The technician was early and waited until the expected time. He was professional and polite and left the house in great shape. He explained all the devices and made sure I understood how to navigate the new thermostat. I will recommend this service to friends.

Professional and thorough service. They may be a bit more expensive, but you aren't going to get the run-around nor are they selling to empty a warehouse. They know the makes/models, and if they don't , they investigate. No decision is pushed for and they ask you to ask questions. I use them for 3 properties, 2 residential and 1 commercial. Different equipment, and I am not disappointed . They seem to sell what they know, stand by it, and hire individuals who know what to do, instead of sending a B/C team first with repeated visits.
I am very satisfied and have used them for residential work for 3 years.

My techs name was Anthony goostree Technician was professional and courteous as well as informative. For the short time he was he and performed some diagnostic tests, he explained the problem to me and instead of doing something that could have caused more damage to my system, he instead is returning tomorrow to do what he couldn't do tonight. He actually came out at 8 pm and in the rain and storms, when he easily could have just rescheduled apt.

Ductless A/C did a great job. Very friendly and mannered professional worker. They cleaned up afterwards and explained the system. I’m very pleased.

The tech who came out was friendly, courteous and went straight to work. We needed our water heater replaced after the last one broke and they were quick to get the new one installed. Changing out water heaters can be dirty work but he was thoughtful, laid down cloths and wore booties to keep everything upstairs clean and tidy. He even played with our dog so that he wasn't stressed with a stranger being in the house. Overall it was a stress-free experience for us. We will definitely be reaching out next time we need services.

Shawn was prompt and professional. He worked quickly and cleanly. He was very patient about explaining the issues with my system, and my payment options. I would recommend Sila to anyone in need of HVAC service.

Shawn O’Connell was fantastic - great communication by phone and prompt arrival. Answered all my questions and provided reassurance for me as a new home owner. Provided helpful and thorough education on my system and thermostat. His 10 years of industry experience was very apparent. I really appreciated the quick scheduling by their office as well. I usually try to stick with smaller companies but found myself very impressed with this service call and overall customer support.
