John Wilcox has been great to work with as we’ve resolved some plumbing issues in our house. The technicians are friendly and professional, and everyone has been extremely communicative throughout the entire process- estimate, scheduling, during the job, follow up. I especially appreciated the detailed written summaries I received of the problem/ work/ costs. I’d highly recommend!

I called on Friday, 12/3. Although they were really busy they made sure to make it to assist with major leaking with my hot water tank. They came within 2 hours of my call even though it was almost the end of the day on a Friday for something that couldn’t wait. Very professional and helpful. They were able to get the leaked stopped. Ensured they had a tank and mine was not of standard size it was larger. They were able to come back first thing in the morning to fix. They call, text and email and keep you posted every step of the way through the process. They did an excellent job, professional, kind and cleaned up well. I can’t say enough about them and I would recommend them to anyone. If you need someone. Definitely give them a call. You will be glad you did. Thank you John and team!!! After battling a water leak around my chimney for several years, roof replaced, chimney capped and pointed, step flash, yada yada, the leak continued. The kitchen ceiling is very damaged from the moisture. I had a chimney inspection performed and sent an inquiry that same night to John Wilcox Plumbing. The chimney inspector was very thorough and found the source of the problem. The gas water heater was back drafting from the chimney. The plastic caps on the top of the water heater were all melted. The chimney flue for the water heater had collapsed (and the flue for the furnace is not far behind). As a result the exhaust was back drafting and releasing into my home. The inspector advised me of the serious danger, that it was no longer suitable for venting, and the most cost effective solution. Rebuilding the chimney is extremely expensive and the best option would to be to replace the water tank and the furnace with higher efficiency devices that do not vent through the chimney. Waleed and Matt arrived on time and were very personable and professional. The removed the old tank, installed a beautiful new power vent gas water tank and all new wiring and plumbing. It is a piece of artwork! They took the time to explain everything to me. I received a follow-up from John the following day . I am hiring them again when I replace the furnace and will leave another stellar review. Thank you John, Waleed and Matt for keeping my family safe. Had maintenance check after two years and all is good!

When we discovered the problem with one of our pipes, we felt very worried and didn’t know where to start. We just bought a new home and were moving in soon so needed it to be fixed immediately. We called John Wilcox Plumbing and Heating to get an appointment and they were able to fit us in same day. When the technicians arrived, they went above and beyond to go through additional issues. They dug through tons of debris to ensure our water tank was venting properly and fixed the leak. We will be calling John Wilcox for EVERYTHING. Special shout out to Bill for being so helpful!

Enough good cannot be said about this company! From John the owner to his crew of guys they were phenomenal. I couldn’t be happier with the job they did for me at my commercial laundromat and will never use any other company going forward! 5 star rating through and through!

John Wilcox is the ONLY Plumbing and Heating company I will use or trust. John and his team of Technicians are fair, honest, respectful, clean and trustworthy. I have used many companies: some are able to perform plumbing OR heating but not BOTH. More importantly, these other companies were not trustworthy. I will only use John Wilcox Plumbing and Heating for all my work and encourage others to do so as well. They have my FULL endorsement!

Wilcox is the best! Always takes time to explain the problem and the solution. He did everything to get our house warm before leaving same day- even during his busiest time of year! 10/10 would recommmend.

John Wilcox and his team always do a quality job. I most recently had the team install a new ac and heat system for me and it was a seamless process. I own a typical older Pittsburgh home. There was water leaking from my bathroom (shower/bathtub) through the recessed lighting in my kitchen. The team at John Wilcox was able to respond the same day. It was a tough repair and both Ryan and John were involved. They were very thorough, even calling a week later to ensure that the repairs made had fixed the problem.
