Service person was very professional. Very informative as well. My system is quite old but he treated it with respect but also made me aware that because it is old there are no guarantees. It could last a few more years or it could give up tomorrow.
I have used Haller in the past and have always been satisfied with their personnel and their service.

After spending 10K for dual zones that didn't achieve goal, spent another 10K to install new HVAC heat pump that still couldn't do the job. Installed attic fan for 300 bucks and fixed. After spending 20K they admitted that was probably all that was needed. Then their second maintenance visit, they want 275 bucks to clean the coils they are contracted to clean, claiming maintenance wasn't done, which they are contracted to do. I need to clean it monthly so that they don't need to clean it. The world has lost it's marbles sometimes. Apparently it happens to a lot of people but they don't change their maintenance plans, or tell their customer ahead of time, or tell them it is going to be 275 bucks to get a cleaning before doing it. The people are nice. But I don't trust the company any more. Stay away. Many miswires in installation and many visits to never get right. You can't get it wrong this many times in a row.

I called them for quotes regarding a few things I needed done around the house, primarily based off of the reviews. They were responsive and scheduled the appointment. They let me know that there was a $39 fee to provide the quote, but would be refunded if I used them. The gentleman who arrived was very nice and helpful. He did let me know there was an additional $179 fee for him to "diagnose" what the problems were. Since he was already there I agreed to this, assuming that this would also be waived if I used them. It took him about an hour. I was provided a quote for nearly $2000 to fix these issues, for three relatively small items. I got quotes from 3 others (all who did not charge a dispatch or diagnosis fee btw), all for a third to a quarter of what this quote was for. So now I am out about $225. Would not suggest even bothering to call them

I had used Haller in the past for a plumbing issue (a good experience) so I decided to use them for a small electrical job: replacing a light switch. Everything went a well as could be. I got an appointment within a day of calling and the electrician was competent and personable. Thus…five stars..

Overall, they were fair despite their refusal to sell a more efficient system. Then the system didn't cool evenly due to the need for new ducts. The Allentown office is more friendlier and respectful. The Lititz office just wanted to get the job done and out of there.
