Trantel heating saved me after over a year of dealing with a really bad home warranty and other company! They also came back later to make sure everything was working properly and did some free services as well to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

Our air conditioning has been broken for what seems like a year now. We have had 2 other companies come out to "fix" it and both did really shotty work. Steve with Trantel came out and did a very thorough job. He was friendly, identified the problem areas right away and fixed them in a timely manner. Thanks so much to Trantel and Steve!

My daughter and I came back from a trip to the mountains and walked into a cold house on evening over the holidays. Apparently our central heat did not work. I called Trantel and after walking me through a first diagnosis over the phone they showed up next day with the right replacement part and fixed the issue right away. I am super pleased with the fast resolution and friendly and competent service. Especially considering that it was over the holidays.

Trantel knows what they are doing and have competitive prices. They also are flexible with their schedule if you are having an urgent repair need. They will go out of their way to make sure you are happy with the work.

The technician was very friendly and efficient. He communicated what he was going to do and got my approval every step of the way. He cleaned up the job site when he was done. The price was more than reasonable. I am a very satisfied customer!

Trantel was assigned to me by my home warranty company. They initially seemed to be helpful and were on time and courteous. When their first attempt to fix my A/C unit failed, they then tried to shift blame onto my electric system, which caused a delay in getting my AC repaired when I had an infant daughter in a tremendous heat wave. When that was resolved, they then were extremely poor at communication - dodged phone calls, repeatedly told me that they were working on my paperwork when they never turned it in. The final straw is that they claimed they completed the work yet never actually came back and this has resulted in huge confusion regarding my home warranty resulting in my loss of several thousand dollars. Worst company ever. Avoid.

I recently gave my resignation in July 2019 bcause the owner of trantel heating and cooling, Scott Trantel was performing unethical procedures with their customers, employees and vendors.

He was charging customers $250 for permits for each unit they replaced. He would never get the permits from the city unless it was for a business.

I brought this to his attention, he basically told me not to worry about it.

There were other things he was doing including deducting hours from employees checks and not given them the check stubs that shows the deductions when employees got paid.

I would not use this company for any reason because he is only there for himself. He lies about everything he can and really does not know what he is doing in any business sense. They make excuses why they don't return calls and cons the Home Warranty companies and customers.

I would pass this along to all of your contacts, have them pass it along to their contacts.

His brother, Mike Trantel burnt down a mini mall to cover up a theft of several carton of cigarettes. Would you want this person coming into your home? If you hire Trantel Heating and Cooling most likely he will because he works for his brother Scott Trantel now.

Fantastic and prompt service on this all-time record hot day in Portland. Were able to get our unit fixed and working quickly and for a very fair price. Will absolutely be a repeat customer!
