The job of insulating my house went very smoothly and efficiently. The crew knew their job well. When they finished the job I could not even tell that they had to remove some aluminum siding to access the walls--they were that careful and professional. The insulation upgrade has made a great difference to my heating and cooling bills. I would recommend Green Savers to anyone who would like to make their home more energy efficient!

GreenSavers gave us multiple choices in our estimate so we could move forward based on our needs. Nick Ziter, in particular, explained many options and where our time and money would be best spent. Nick is both incredibly knowledgeable and he is also a neighbor working on his own old house.

GreenSavers put us into their schedule early and were patience as we waited for many factors to align with the purchase our home. They were understanding, as more details were needed, before the work could begin. And once the work started…the crew was fast, efficient, and true problem solvers! We encountered several hold ups with our 100-year-old house which they solved and completed right away. Seriously…what a crew!!!

An important take away was they treated our house like it was their own home. They made decisions and fixed things that could cause us problems in the future. And they were kind and understanding of our personal stresses of home renovations.

GreenSavers is a top-notch company that we whole heartily recommend and who we will use in the future!

We hired GreenSavers to perform an earthquake retrofit of our home - bolting frame to foundation, emergency gas valve shut off, etc. After having our fair share of run-ins with subpar contractors, it was such a pleasure to work with Green Savers. Molly and her team were professional, friendly, flexible, and a joy to have around our house. They did top notch work and creatively solved any unexpected issues that arose. I wish every contractor experience was like our experience with GreenSavers. Thank you!

GreenSavers was very good. I had them seal and insulate my HVAC ducts and blow insulation into my attic. The work crew was very professional and made sure to leave things spotless at the end of each day.

Communication was very good up until work started. I would have liked to have daily summaries with photos of the work that was completed. I had to reach out and ask for this information. Additionally, there was very little follow-up after the job wrapped.

TLDR; Nice work. A bit expensive. Would have liked more proactive communication.

Added a ducted head to our existing mini-split heat pump system. Great job, and excellent communications from bid to completion.

We hired GreenSavers to insulate our walls, and I am really impressed with the job they did. Excellent communication and negotiation beforehand, easy scheduling, and the crew did a fantastic job filling in all of the gaps - patching and cleaning extraordinarily meticulously.
The difference is palpable, but invisible. Perfect!

We had our home weatherized by Greensavers. It was a great experience! They communicated well and were prompt with scheduling. They did blow-in insulation in the walls and attic. Although it looked pretty crazy while they were working, they fixed all the holes and painted. Now that they're done you can't tell from looking that anything was done! So far the results seem great - our attic is much cooler and the whole house stays fairly cool on hot days.

We contacted Greensavers after buying a home in Portland. We started with the energy audit they offer. It provided an array of useful information about the systems of the house. They made a list of recommendations and we chose the ones that we thought were the most critical and that we could afford in the moment. The communication was clear and easy. The workers respectful and the work done well. We had them bring attic ventilation and insulation up to code, had them raise and insulate the heating ducts in our crawlspace, seal all entry points into the house, and install a premium bathroom exhaust fan. I plan to continue our relationship with Greensavers as we can afford to over time. I especially look forward to working with them to add solar, and eventually transition to a ductless heating and air conditioning system. I am really happy with our experience.

We worked with Greensavers to install a heatpump and upgrade insulation and ventilation of our attic. The project went very well and all the staff were professional, courteous, and congenial.
