Had a great experience with this company when I had my sink and faucets upgraded. However after the merge with Reynolds Electric and the big new building on Chad Drive, their process has changed. Now you have to pay $89 for a "flat rate" estimate, and they have no clue as to what even a simply shower cartridge replacement would be. I will be finding my plumbing services elsewhere from now on.

Several years after they installed a new water heater I am SO unhappy. I had a larger tank originally but the person who came out told me it was not possible for me to have a similar or even slightly smaller tank because of code regulations. I've since found out that was completely untrue. Now I'm stuck with a too small tank for our situation. They also installed some kind of device on top of the water tank that is generally only used in commercial situations. It mixes the cold with the hot water. It's been nothing but a headache and has required several visits by another company to repair and is now being removed. I feel like I was taken advantage of and as an elder on fixed income my thought is shame on them.

Surprisingly, the technician was able to show up the same day without a big fuss, just a couple hours after we made the call. He was polite, thorough, professional, communicated what needed to be done to diagnose the problem well, and made sure we received all of the discounts we had coming. He tested his work when he was finished, then cleaned up, and put things back in order. No one likes to unexpectedly fork out a few hundred bucks for the privilege of flushing the toilet, but we still feel we received our moneys worth given the service we were provided. Kevin Cohen Plumbing will be who we call next time if something like this comes up again.

They were very clear about how they charge prior to scheduling the appointment. The first technician was pleasant and professional, but was not able to address the thermostat issue on our water heater system. We rescheduled a second visit with Rich, who was very professional and clearly had the experience to determine what needed to be repaired, which he did with expertise. They applied the first "home visit" fee to the second visit and repair, which seemed fair and made the cost reasonable. We will use KCP for our plumbing needs in the future.

Jason D from Kevin Cohen Plumbing spent the entire day at my house. I had several things that needed to be done. I expected it would take more than one trip to get it all done. Jason stayed until every item was finished. He did a great job (I'm very picky). He was friendly, professional and explained everything he was doing and why. He went out of his way, even doing a couple of extra small things I couldn't reach to do myself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

They were able to get a plumber out right away for a tricky repair job. The plumber, David, was one of the most friendly, professional, and hard-working craftsmen I've ever had in my home. Plumbing is never cheap but they took care to charge a fair price for a full day's work, and were able to help me get in touch with other contractors for follow-up work on the repair. Just a great experience overall, if you have a leak then I encourage you to get in touch with this outfit.

The crew at Kevin Cohen is helpful, accommodating and reasonably priced. I had an emergency this last time when we broke an old irrigation pipe moving a gazebo. The person was out within an hour and fixed the problem quickly and didn't charge me extra. Turned a potential disaster into a quick fix. I will always call them first.

I needed a water filter placed for a tenant and I was referred to Kevin Cohen Plumbing by a friend. Cassie researched what filters were available and described in detail how they worked. She was knowledgeable and prompt in response to all my questions. Scheduling was easy and the installation was thorough. I had some questions about the bill and the technician returned my call within a half an hour. I would recommend them for their professionalism, integrity and service.

KC Plumbing is great! The hot water went out in our shower. I called these guys because I'd seen their quality of work at a former place of employment. Brandon B., our technician, was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to clearly explain all of our options in a clear and concise manner and we were able to find a solution that ended up saving us a chunk of money. He got our showers warm and cozy again in no time at all. Cassidy, the service manager, was really cool as well. She got the work scheduled quickly and she made sure we were satisfied.

I truly recommend these guys for any of your plumbing issues, whether it be residential or commercial.

They have quality service, but they are expensive.
This company does not provide estimates like they claim, they provide contract pricing which excludes breakdown of parts and labor. I needed to replace a water heater for my mom, called this company because of their quality service, and was given an "estimate" of $1750. I asked if I could shop around and they said, "of course, but we may not make it back out here for another two weeks--if you decide to go with us--and you will still have to pay the $59 dispatch fee." Expecting that they were reasonably priced (having no knowledge of plumbing costs), I accepted. Two hours later they were done; old water heater removed, new one installed. This took me by surprise considering I had a basic understanding that water heaters don't cost more than a grand, and no plumbing agency charges that much for labor. I looked up the cost of FIVE of their competitors and it only averaged $1240. $1750 is more than a premium. I recommend getting bids before agreeing to pay their prices. If you do decide to work with them, it is likely they will have availability since many of their other appointments never make it past the inspection.
