We have used Dave’s Services for more than thirty years and have always found them to be an A+ company. They have recommended and installed our HVAC systems and serviced them. They are always friendly and professional, and they offer tips to get the most out of our equipment. As a local company, they understand the value of good service and deliver consistently.
The service technicians are friendly and honest. I have used this company for the past couple of years. The only issue I have is their scheduling policy. I had an appointment today scheduled about a month in advance and took time off work. I received a reminder phone call yesterday evening, but could not answer the phone. I was with a roofer getting an estimate on repairs at the time. I listened to the voicemail and it was reminder of the appointment. I get a call this morning while I was in the shower and a voicemail saying my appointment would have to be rescheduled. Seriously!!! No where in the voicemail the previous evening was it stated the appointment would be canceled if i did not call back!! I understand having a policy like that. I get that you don’t want to waste the technicians time if no one is home, BUT you need to make that policy ABSOLUTELY CLEAR up front. I would have called back first thing in the morning. In the future, please make this absolutely clear to all of your customers up front.
I rescheduled, but you wasted my time this morning and now i have to take more time off for this! I give your service guys 5 stars, but the communication regarding scheduling needs work.
These people are the best. Friendly and professional. I have them come out and do my maintenance check. Sometimes they find things that are about to go out and will ask me if I want to fix it now or wait. I take their advice and fix it now as my furnace is older and parts break. Sometimes they come out and do the check and nothing is wrong. I never feel pressured to do the repairs and I never feel like they take advantage of me. They do it right. Great job guys.
I called early on a friday when my AC went out. I was super excited to find out that they were able to come right out that day. Within a few hours Zac should up at out house. He did an amzing job, and really knows his craft. Diagnosed the problem, repaired and checked the over all operation. He saved the day and the weekend! This is a great company. Replacing a complete HVAC system is terrifying and the whole staff at Dave’s is friendly and very knowledgeable. They made sure all of our questions were answered and didn’t make me feel stupid for not knowing things. They explained what they were going to do and why. They took so much care with my home that it seemed like they were doing this to their own house. I can’t express enough how nice it was to have a company that took so much time with us so that we were comfortable with the decision we made.
In process of selling house and “not an expert-inspector” determined there was an issue with the furnace. Ed made a visit after hours in our time of emergency to run the diagnostics tests on the furnace only to find a safety switch was shorted, likely by Someone poking around in the furnace, who had visited the house during the summer months. The Switch was Ordered and replaced promptly, furnace was tested as was the emissions of Carbon Monoxide, to insure exchangers were not cracked or defective, and determined the furnace well into the safe range. He also tested the air conditioning between the input (return) and discharge (cold air feed) just outside the HVAC furnace/air conditioner, and determined the air was operating very efficiently! I have relied upon Dave’s Services for 30 years, always knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Thankful to all the team including Cheryl, Shawn and Ed for getting everything completed promptly and at a fair price! Dave’s Services will be receiving my business for a new HVAC system in our new-to-us home, when it is time to update. Thanks again for a job done quickly, and thoroughly!
Needed emergency repair when my grandmother’s furnace locked up on a Saturday evening. Brian responded quickly, was honest, up-front about what we were facing. He went out of his way to make it work and get the job done that was certainly not as straightforward as it should have been. Really appreciate people who step up when you need them!
I am a retired contractor. I received 3 estimates for replacing our air conditioning. Jim Morlan was our sales person, but is also a great technician that gets the installation & sizing right. Their prices were better plus they included a 10 year labor warranty. JJ led the installation team and did a great job. I chose this company because they keep their staff trained and educated and it shows!
