I have been using Pickerington Heating & Cooling for the past several years and they were great. Out of nowhere, without any notice (confusing because I have a subscription with them to check my HVAC twice year and it was just renewed), they tell me they are not servicing apartments or high-rise buildings anymore. Thank you for the notice...and refund? Not happy at all, especially with it being SO hot right now. Thanks for the past 4 years but the inability to notice me of not working on high-rise condos anymore - zero communication there.

UPDATE (07/07/2020 at 11:15am): Furnace/AC - whatever you want to call it. Filters and inspections were completed since I hired you guys. We had Atlas Butler come out to check the broken A/C and they showed us the unchanged air filter (since 2016), which is when I hired you guys. I lived at the condo since from November 2014 to March 2020 and with my plan with you (the PLAN may have expired but I've had someone come out every 6 months until I moved out) and the discounted price that I received form you because I was not a single family home and instead a condo, you guys gave me a discounted price AND stated that you would also service my rental property in the same building, one floor up. All I asked was that they enter after they service/check my unit and change out the filter in my other unit and check if there is anything needed done in there. I said I would even provide the new filters and the gentleman that was in my unit who said he would take care of it said HE would be the one every time to make sure. Fast foward to July 6, 2020: the air filter has NOT been changed since early 2016 and the unit is now completely ruined and we need to get a brand new unit: All because the filters that were supposed to be changed out by the gentleman that has always worked in my unit did not do his job. He was given the door code to the rental unit as well - talk about me trusting him way too much. The new filters were found by my tenant, unopened and never used (left exactly at the place I told the HVAC guy where they would be). What is your explanation on that? Did he verbally agree to do a job without your knowledge? Because as far as I know, I was told it would be completed in my rental unit on the same days my old residence would be serviced. And now I have to spend thousands of dollars to get the unit replaced. I don't need any monetary refund, I don't need an apology. I just need YOU to know that your service guy confirmed with me that a job would be done and it was not. So whether that means have a conversation with your service guys to not promise side jobs, then so be it. Because as a customer, when a service person tells me a job will be completed, I expect it to be completed. And I have had tenants living in there so I was never able to confirm if the job was done; I just assumed it would be. I've attached pictures of what it looks like now & what the air filter looked like that was NEVER replaced by you.

price was good when you did our heating and air new put in. That was 2 or 3 years ago. Only now had a problem with heating not putting out warm enough. You fixed it and now seems much warmer.

We had a wonderful experience with Five Star! The gentlemen sent to our house were prompt, professional, fast, and personable. They arrived on time (just before 9am), and they finished early: we were enjoying our new system (with a 10 year warranty) by 4pm that same day! We also got a great deal: many other service providers quoted us nearly twice what Five Star quoted us. I talked with friends about their experiences and cost of HVAC service providers, and we became confident we were getting a great value. It also really helped that they continued to check in on us while we were waiting on other companies to provide us with an estimate. They weren't pushy: I just simply explained we were expecting other companies to provide us with estimates and they understood. But it told me that they hadn't forgotten about us. One of the companies we scheduled an estimate with never showed (we called and the guy acted really flustered and admitted they forgot). Will recommend Five Star hands down!!
