Tim and Co. have maintained our furnace and heat/cool pump for three years. Also installed a backup sump pump system in our basement. The guys are always punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. Great work!

It was a Monday, it was very cold and just a few days before Thanksgiving. I had just gotten home from the long work day when suddenly, I realized that my furnace motor was running, but no hot air was coming out!!! My wonderful fiancé James tried some basic troubleshooting while my patient Mother provided emotional support and a small space heater to keep my family warm. After a few hours we realized this was a job for the professionals. I called Portman Mechanical. It was late but my call was answered. A plan was put into action immediately. Portman Mechanical to the rescue!
It was not long before they had us up and running. I truly appreciate their caring, knowledge, speed and honesty. THANKS PORTMAN MECHANICAL!!! YOU ROCK!!!

When the A/C went down this week I scheduled the earliest available appointment (about a week out), but when my wife's asthma started to act up they made room for us and came out the same day. Mike arrived about 5:00 pm and had the A/C up and running in no time. He was professional and friendly. I will definitely have Portman check my furnace when the leaves start to turn this fall.

The technicians are kind and knowledgeable. Jennifer, in the office, is wonderful! I had a pregnancy brain moment (put the batteries in the thermostat incorrectly) and a very nice non judgemental man came over within a couple hours and helped me. They didnt charge me since he wasnt here long before he found "the problem." I will always call them for service...even if they'd rather me not!

Tim and his crew were professional from start to finish. They were knowledgeable, prompt, efficient, friendly, and they cleaned up behind themselves practically leaving it cleaner than when they started. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Had Portman Mechanical come out to my mothers home in Brook Park for a tune up. They did a fantastic job, and were very professional! Highly recommend them!
