I had a 20 yr-old furnace in the basement that was leaking a bit and was all rusty. I had contacted another company back in the spring this year and they did not even want to touch the unit when they saw it. They never called back to let me know if they were interested in taking the job. At the end of the fall, I decided to do something about the furnace and they referred me to a company in Lancaster. They never called so through a friend of mine I was given Elliott Heating and Cooling contact number. Seth, the owner, answered right away and the next morning he was checking the unit. He even cleared a pipe that was clogged which was causing the leaking. He was very thorough inspecting the unit, did not try to sell me anything, I found him very honest, and he did not even charge me for that. The other company charged nearly $80 for opening the unit and doing nothing! I told Seth I wanted to replace the furnace and told him I had a heat pump in the attic that was broken. He went upstairs and checked everything. Seth came back to me that same day with an estimate to replace the furnace, and also advised me to install a furnace there instead of replacing the heat pump. On December 10 as he had told me, his crew as in my house working in the basement so I had a new furnace that very same day! They started the next day in the attic and by Thursday the whole job was completed with no issues at all. His crew worked diligently, they were very nice, very professional, and answered any question I had. I had no problem leaving the house because I trusted them completely. Needless to say, I will contact Seth whenever I have an issue with my heating and/or cooling and I will ask them to do the annual checking, as well. I will also recommend them to anybody who asks me about H&C services.

We’ve been more than happy with Elliot H&C, they helped us with a second opinion on our furnace that saved us 2k in repair costs! They have also been so fast to get back with us whenever we’ve had questions and are able to trouble shoot some things over the phone with us (super helpful for us as new homeowners!). Highly recommend Seth and his team. They were professional, fair, honest and shockingly fast! I was in a pinch when my AC unit froze up during the heatwave (of course) and one call to Seth and my worries were over.

From my first phone call, Seth responded promptly. My old AC died in the unusually hot weather in early summer, but I also decided to get new furnace at same time. He came to house, checked everything out, and sat down and explained my options in easy terms. His bid compared to others saved me almost $2,000. I love my new Armstrong AC and Furnace...it's so quiet, I thought it wasn't working at first! Seth is a very hands-on owner and customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to him. Very good experience! I had an AC unit and furnace replaced. Seth was very responsive and had his team out to do the job in a couple of days. Very reasonable price and great warranty on their products.

Great knowledgeable,professional team that treated me like a member of the family. I needed someone to look at my air conditioning unit in a leased commercial space. They got me a quote and told the property manager that honestly the issue happened prior to my taking over the space. The landlord wasn’t thrilled, but fixed the unit at their cost. I kept Elliott Heating and Cooling to do my regular HVAC maintenance. They are great!

Our furnace sounded like it had water inside the fan. Responsiveness = We called they scheduled us the very next day and had the problem fixed in minutes. Punctuality = They showed up right on time. (No pesky 4 hour window)
Professionalism = Along with fixing the furnace, they were willing to check out our water heater after having conversation about only getting 15-20 mins of hot water for showers. They found a bad lower heating element. They ordered the part and came back the very next day and installed the new part. We were good to go. Hot water for hours!!!
Quality = the work that was done was quality work I sat and watched the entire time as he explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it, along with what may have caused the issue.
Value = the price was the best price in town.
