Can't say enough good things about Mark and his staff. My A/C unit went down and they very quickly effected a temporary repair that held me over until a new unit was installed. On the day of installation his staff arrived on time, performed the work, left the house neat and clean and now my house is cool and comfortable. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend S&S HVAC to anyone in need of these services.

All employees were very knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. We needed a new Heating System and AC. They explained the best options, best pricing, and let us choose what was best for us without pushing a system we didn’t need.

They were the only company to explain why certain rooms upstairs were not getting the correct temperatures, replaced with the correct ducts, and now it’s perfect.

They were the only estimate to use the warranty on the heat exchanger and were able to repair for just the install cost saving us money from the first estimate. The home owner at 88 needed a quick turn around as the nights were cold and they were able to have the unit delivered the next day with their team completing the same day. Wish I can give this company 10 stars because they deserve it for their HONEST, PROFESSIONAL and KNOWLEDGEABLE service. Devin arrived to restore heat to my boiler. He was so courteous, professional and knowledgeable in his task to resolve my no heat issue. I’ve dealt with many other companies that say what they are not. After getting 3 quotes, I chose S&S heating & air conditioning located in Hinckley twp. That was based on previous owner references and their BBB standing.
They arrived on the prearranged date with a full crew. I was greeted by Mark the foreman and the crew went to work in an orderly fashion.
Approximately five hours later the work was completed. I was handed the Trane paperwork and asked if I had questions. The crew cleaned up leaving no cardboard or trash behind.
The owner of S&S stopped by and inspected the work and asked
I had questions.
This result was a new Trane air conditioner installed by a knowledgeable crew at an acceptable price. I highly recommend them.

We had a heater and AC unit installed. During the initial quoting when they came out Mark spent time to go through everything and explain differences and what he believed would work best for our home. He was patient and answered all the questions I had.
When it came time for installation a few men came out a couple days before to look at the work they were doing and how to approach it all. We had an existing wood stove that was connected in and they needed to work with and complicated things. They were very detailed and explained anything I was curious about. They even moved some things around to make it look cleaner. All the workers were very polite, professional and incredibly knowledgable.They worked hard and had passing conversations with me or my kids. They even had me come down and asked if it was okay to do something a little different that would give us more space in the basement.
All in all the experience was fantastic and I would absolutely have them do any other HVAC work we need done!

I had S & S come out to my business to finish a final hook up for a mini split unit (for a shipping container office). Mark (Owner) and I had communication through out the process what I needed done. Mark even came out twice to help me brain storm a few ideas how to mount the mini split since it was my first one I have installed. Then his guys came out and were absolutely fantastic. His two technicians were on-time and very professional. I will definitely be calling them again for not only my business, but if I need any HVAC work done at my home. Thanks S&S!

On initial trouble call the tech demonstrated the shortcomings of the decades olde A/C compressor, offered to fix it just enough to limp along. I decided on replacement during '22s sweltering June. Real Pros. Friendly. Gained my trust within minutes. Painstakingly setup my new A/C, all gauges/meters on the dot. The sheet metal guy was a magician, I can't imagine a niftier job done in the field. The owner's presentation was almost too thorough, he wanted me to understand every bit of the equipment and take a day before signing the bid - zero pressure. I signed straight away. 5 stars, would heat & cool here again.
