Had issues with my AC unit, called Wise ( Great office response) due to the good online reviews, they were able to come out the next day(July 2). Steve came out and explained all details, fixed unit and and we had cold air. I noticed the out side unit was not working, no cold air blowing, this was July 5th, (hottest day of year) I called Wise and they were able to to come out on Saturday July 6th (Holiday Weekend) Steve fully explained the issue, fixed it, plenty of cold air now. I believe Wise is very honest, knowledgeable, and a great value.

We had our HVAC system replaced 3 years ago and we went with Wise Cooling and Heating because of the price, friendliness of the staff and their commitment to customer service. We have not been disappointed and they are quick to respond to inquiries and very detail oriented in their work. I would highly recommend them for a needed repair or to provide you with a new HVAC if necessary. From the receptionist to each tech, they are courteous and will get the job done.

Bought a Trane furnace from Wise H&C about 5 years ago. The igniter has been going bad just about every year. When the igniter goes bad, there is no heat. Turns out Trane admits that the furnace motherboard needs to be replaced to fix the problem of the igniter failing so often. Wise charged me $234 to change the igniter AGAIN and then charged me $150 to replace the motherboard. All labor. $384 to fix a defective product. The technician was great but it is wrong to charge customers money to fix defective products. UPDATE: After a discussion with Wise, they refunded me the money that they charged me for labor.

05/06/20 UPDATE: Trane thermostat kicked out another error code (it does this every year) so I called Wise since they sold me the unit and have been servicing it. The lady said there is a note on my account to not service the address any longer due to an unpaid invoice? So after they agreed to make the aforementioned issue right a year ago and not charge me the labor to fix an ignitor that goes bad every year, they then blacklisted my account from being serviced. This is appalling. Wise does not stand by the products they install. When they fail and you expect them to do the right thing, they treat you as a non-paying customer. Do not do business with this company. When the equipment that they sell you breaks every year and you hold them accountable to fixing it, they blacklist you. What kind of business operates this way? Wise does.

Called Monday at 7:45 am (4/2/19) as we had no heat. It was cold and they sent Steve over right away. He had come last summer when grass clippings had clogged our air conditioning unit outside (it was still under warranty so there was no charge). He went to work and found the problem and fixed it and gave us a head's up that another heating element would be the next to go (probably lasting till next fall). Since he had the part in his truck, we went ahead and had that part replaced as well. He was in and out in 30 minutes or less. Steve was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous and made a nice appearance. We highly recommend Wise Heating & Cooling, and Steve, for heating and cooling services.

Several years ago we need to have a new heating oil furnace installed. Wise come out and installed the furnace.

This year the furnace started making noise and so I called to see about having someone come out.

They no longer support the furnace they sold me. The person I spoke to was courteous and tried to find someone to help me, but bottom line they don't support it any longer.

They installed the new unit when they said they would and were professional through out the process. I will use them in the future and would recommend them to our friends.

They responded quickly to my email request. Service worker communicated ahead of schedule to let me know when he would be at my home. He was very thorough with his explanation of what the problem was for my AC unit. I Felt like I got my money’s worth from this company. Thank you for fixing my AC.

I have 2 systems purchased and installed by WISE. The install was a 3 out of 5 stars because of some glitches that needed fixed later. Also, the installers scratched a doorway opening that is still a eyesore to look at, with no offer to repair.

The price for my two units wasn’t cheap, but do think it was fair. I did not want another cheap HVAC system, like the one I replaced. The high efficiency Trane that was installed has saved me money already. Price is a 4 out of 5.

As for “after the purchase” treatment? 5 out of 5! This is the metric, to me, that really counts. Stuff goes wrong all the time when dealing with unique installs. i understand that. But the importance of sticking by your work and your product, is something that I want to tell people about. Yes the install had issues that caused more issues. But WISE stood by it, even 3+ years after the install.

Lastly, the service and technicians are a 5 out of 5. What anyone wants is a honest and well qualified service person to take care of you after the sale when you have issues. I’ve had several different fellows in to service my 2 units, and I’m extremely impressed with their efficiency, level of skill and honesty - be sure to ask for Steve for your service work.

If I had to do it all over again, I would still purchase my HVAC from WISE.
