A great family-owned company, that my family has been using for at least a couple generations. Recently had a furnace installed, and the guys doing the work were very friendly, professional, and explained everything thoroughly. They hit a few road bumps due to the age of my home, but they sorted them out with ease. Also, the furnace I purchased is exactly as the salesman described in terms of function, noise levels, etc. Additionally, I always get the impression that everyone from the workers to the office staff all really do care about what they are doing, as well as taking care of their customers. I will certainly continue to use Detmer for all of my HVAC needs.

Andre our service technician was fantastic. He fixed the problem, explained what caused it and offered best practices ongoing. He explained the maintenance agreement and associated benefits for which we happily signed up. It’s people like Andre that makes companies great. My heat wasn't working. I called and they had someone at my house in a couple hours. The repair man was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He kept us updated during the repair process. We have used this company before and we will use them again if needed. We will definitely recommend this business! Thank you for fixing our heat on the one of the coldest days we've had this winter season!!!

The company called the week prior to remind me of my service and to set up the appointment. I was then told what time the technician would arrive. He was on time and very professional. He ran through a check of the entire HVAC to include the thermostat and the system in the basement and outside unit, and He changed the filter as well as left an extra filter. The service lasted just shy of an hour. We are thoroughly pleased and will continue to use and refer a Detmer & Sons, Inc.

The service experience is excellent beginning with a friendly & efficient scheduler, a call with ETA from the technician the day of your appointment, an on-time arrival, friendly & competent service and cleanup without any attempts to oversell. We have utilized the services of local competing heating & cooling companies in the past, but Detmer is our choice from now on. Highly recommend!

Geothermal HVAC System Replacement & Upgrade

Detmer & Sons, Inc. was contracted to replace and upgrade a 22-year old ClimateMaster home geothermal heat pump system installation. As one of the few authorized ClimateMaster dealers/installers in my area, I found their knowledge and experience with similar installations superior to others. Although the new unit was delayed by the manufacture for several weeks, Detmer & Sons was able to schedule its installation essentially upon delivery. Their installation crews consisted of HVAC master and apprentice technicians, each focusing on specific project tasks. Upon careful removal from the basement the existing unit and placement of the new unit while protecting doors, halls and floors (no easy chore), the crews quickly obtained required measurements for custom sheet metal work needed for the system install and upgrade. These custom panels were being manufactured at Detmer while other crew members continued with needed on-site electrical and plumbing modifications for the geothermal unit. Within hours the custom duct work was delivered and the entire installation was completed, tested and in service. From start to finish less than 8 hours. HVAC company competitors had quoted days for the same installation.

I was impressed and pleased with all of the professionals I dealt with at Detmer & Sons. For my project, services were completed per the quoted estimate and in a timely manner. Without hesitation, I recommend using Detmer & Sons for all HVAC related services. I know I will be.

Service tech was prompt, courteous, neat in appearance. Performed 6 mo. Maintenance on furnace and a/c.

For having purchased furnace and a/c from Detmer, we felt the yearly maintenance fee was rather high for loyal customers. It does, however, include no fees for service calls. We are retired on a fixed income dealing with increased costs from everyone.

Installation of our new HVAC system (heat and AC) was done in a timely and professional manner. We thought an adjustment should be made and someone came out the day after I called. Great service!
