Used Detmer for 8 years. Going somewhere else. Technicians did a good job eventually fixing the problem. However, we were charged $200 for a dye test we didn't need with first tech mis-diagnosing the issue instead of a piston needing replaced it was the coil. In speaking with Mike Fitzsimmons in management he refused to acknowledge the issue and refused the refund when we paid over $2,400 for the 3 calls we had to get air conditioner fixed. Poor customer service and very unprofessional business manner on Mike's end. Techs were great.

The installers, Austin & Jeff were very efficient & courteous. They were on time & the installation was accomplished & explained in a timely manner. I was very pleased!!

Detmer is the best Heating and Air company I’ve ever dealt with. They are professional, courteous, and honest. My system is old, but they keep it running great for very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them! They don’t push sales, and understand the meaning of customer service.

Hunter's service was exceptional. He was detail oriented and extremely thorough. He is personable, professional, and has excellent communication skills. The best service man ever dealt with from this company. If I could rate him 6 stars I would.

I had never used this company before however my furnace was not keeping a flame to heat my house. The technician called me and I explained the issue I had, he proceeded to walk me through repairing a sensor that had gotten quite a bit of carbon deposits built up, he was more worried about saving me the money and time instead of coming out to make the sale. The total bill would have been $220 for a weekend service call and he saved me from waiting a few hours for a technician to come out to take care of the issue. I will never use any other company, it wasn’t about the money, it was about being a decent human. Thank you all so much!

New furnace for my townhouse installed next day. Install crew was on time, professional, careful install, no floors or walls were damaged. Happy with the service and price.

Furnace issues in the middle of the night...called first thing in the morning and they were at my door within an hour and a half. Eric was extremely knowledgable and professional and answered all of my questions. Furnace working like a champ after he was done with it! I will absolutely call Detmer and Sons again in the future.

Update: several months later had an AC issue late in the evening. Called to get on the next days schedule and they called back within 15 min to squeeze me in that night. Hunter was exceptional and immediately diagnosed the problem and the solution. Upfront about all the costs (had the needed part in his truck) and very personable to talk to. AC fixed within an hour and a half of me calling. Absolutely fantastic customer service!

I’ve now called Detmer and Sons three times since moving back to the area two-ish years ago and they are 3 for 3 providing timely and excellent service. They will definitely have my business anytime I have HVAC issues!
