    Saved me thousands! Offered service at less than half the big names quoted. The owner John is excellent and the lady who answers the phone has always been helpful. These are my go to people for all my hvac needs from now on. Thanks!

    Dayton Air Conditioning and Heating seems to care more about putting money in their pockets then taking care of customers. High service call rates $95 for first half hour, $20 every 15 minute there after, I think it was?!, which would be well worth it if they cared about the customers and listened to them. I work in retail and I know that one bad review will be repeated to 20 people, those 20 will repeat to 20 more people each, and so on. A good review will go unnoticed. The first service call with Dayton Air went well or so I thought 5 stars all the way. But what does one know when you just meet them? 9 days later had more AC issues, a Saturday. This is the first bad review I have ever placed and I hate to but when the operator hangs up on you and tells you to find someone else to do the work, it makes one wonder if one caught them in a bad situation. Either way very uncalled for. Glad I called some one else. Would not recommend. Dayton Air even though they came highly recommended. So on a Saturday had another company come out. Only charged $89.00 service fee. NO TIME AND HALF. NO $149.00 FOR FIRST HALF HOUR! - $89.00 service call is all the other company charged ON A SATURDAY! Found out fuses were blown. They blew because Dayton Air put too much Freon in the unit. 59 oz. of Freon for $210.00! The guy said too much Freon is hard on the compressor and that is wha. Probably blew the fuses. He let out more then half of the just put in Freon from 9 days ago on the ground. Probably didn't need any at all. $210.00 of Freon wasted on the ground. Never again! Dayton Air operator said if I could find someone cheaper on a Saturday to come out and do the work then do so. And again I did. $89.00 service call, any time, any day, even Christmas and New Years. I thought $95 for the first half hour was high and $149 on weekends for the first half hour was ridiculous but what did I know?! This was a live and learn moment and boy did I learn my lesson! Never again! 24 hours later. AC is getting a lot colder then it has in the 3 years we have lived here. It might needed Freon like Dayton Air claimed. And it worked. But it never got this cold before this quickly even in the 9 day period. The other company told me too much Freon would cause the unit not to get as cold. I think removing the extra Freon Dayton Air put in helped 100%! Still pisses me off I wasted $210 on Freon when I didn't need that much at all in the first place. Service rates are way too high in my opinion. My only real suggestion is DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Service calls I found out by calling around are only between $69 - $89 service calls. NOT for the first half hour! Like I said before, NEVER AGAIN!

    Great experience! It is easy to see why they have been able to stay in business for over 40 years. I called earlier this afternoon about an issue with my thermostat and they came out same day and fixed it for 1/3 the price another HVAC contractor quoted me. Honest, good, professional work. I will definitely continue to use Dayton Air Conditioning and Heating for any and all my HVAC needs.

    all I have to say is don't hire these people to work on your beer cooler we have gave this company thousands of dollars and the problem was not solved. and also the secretary that answers the phone is really rude this is not how u do business with people or treat people would NOT ever call these people they are a joke
