My furnace had finally kicked the bucket and I decided it was time to replace my HVAC system on a Thursday, and they had a technician out that afternoon to discuss my options and provide some quotes. They were very above board with their pricing and recommendations, and once I had made a decision, they had an installation team out the following day. They were able to remove the old furnace and the old A/C, as well as install the new systems in one day. The following business day, they sent a technician to adjust the blower speeds and charge the refrigerant. They were responsive, professional, and I am very pleased with the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend Barker Heating and Air.

Barker Heating and Air Conditioning installed a replacement home A/C, Furnace, and Water Heater at my home. Everyone from the Owner, the Salesperson, and All the Technicians are Friendly, Respectful, and Professional. The equipment arrived on time, installation was quick and efficient. We had a couple of estimates for furnace replacement and A/C installed. Barker's employees were great! I got my electric upgraded by a local company, who also installs HVAC. We chose Barker's to install ours. My grandparents owned our home. They chose Barkers to maintain the coal converted to gas furnace in their home. We did,too!

The receptionist who took the call was super polite and professional. The technician Joe came out and was also extremely polite and professional, educated me on what was wrong and offered a solution. It was clear he was very knowledgeable and he was in and out within under an hour.

I did not actually use Barker but they still gained me as a loyal customer. After calling around to several HVAC companies for my frozen AC during the Heatwave, I finally reached Barker who helped me over the phone with some useful tips to help me until they COULD get to me (which was asap when someone was in my area). Next week was the soonest for any other company, understandably so! I did explain to the dispatcher that I was pretty worried about my dogs and They put me on a service call list for someone to get there as soon as possible. They called me three hours later but I was at work:(! I just appreciate their willingness and making me priority in a stressful situation. Thank you!

I've had these folks come out for everything! When our heater was broken in dead of winter, to do air duct cleaning, to do the check up, and most recently too replace my ac and furnace (ughhh homeownership sucks sometimes lol). They're always professional, friendly, and do a great job. I got 3 quotes and I still went with them because they're BBB accredited, have a good reputation, and included all the because city permits and etc in their quote so I didn't have to bother with it. Love this place. And it's woman-owned! Bonus points!

We have a 120 year old Victorian home that we converted from an upstairs/downstairs duplex to single family and needed to add A/C to the upstairs this past spring. We had quotes from several contractors in town that were all very high because of our "old house with unusual needs". Barker came out, did a thorough inspection and told us we didn't need many of the extras the others were including in their quote. And that the size of the system they were recommending was larger than we needed. We decided to go with Barker, and we are so glad we did. The new A/C system kept our upstairs nice and cool all summer without blowing up our utility bills. And the total was about 40% less than the other quotes we received. We couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Barker! We called this morning because our furnace wasn’t staying on - just kicking off or blowing cold air. Our technician (Ray) was out to our home in about 3 hours. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We had heat again in under an hour!
I also appreciated the emailed work order, and option to pay online.
