Hetter Heating & Cooling

Rick Hoffman was here this week to check our heating system. He has checked it out twice a year since we purchased the house in 2019. He is professional and timely, he explains just what he is doing and why. He also reminds me that the boiler is getting older.

I had a new furnace and AC installed by Hetter in June 2022, replacing the ~30 year old units I had in my home.
I got a number of estimates from local companies, and there were numerous choices to make in terms of brands, features, warranties, reliability, prices and quality of installation and service. After careful review, I decided to choose Hetter.
Dave was very helpful during the sale, answering all of my questions, and helping me to understand the differences in units and the tradeoffs involved. He helped me to make an informed choice, and to get the features I wanted and the best deal for my money.
Rick and Brian did a great job of removing the old units and installing the new ones. My home is over 100 years old, so there were a few challenges. They took the time necessary to do the job right, which is very important to me. They took care of all of my concerns, and answered all of my questions in a way I could understand. The new system is very solid and works great; after only a few days I can notice the improvements. The more I look over and use my new system the better I feel about it, which tells me it was done right.
I feel I made the right choice by going with the Team at Hetter. They installed a reliable, efficient system and will help me maintain it for many years to come. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends.

Update 4/19/2023: Rick just finished doing our Spring Maintenance. Pleasant to deal with, explained what he would be doing, and did it professionally. He provided info as he went, and a good recap upon completion. We heartily endorse Hetter!

The installation team -Walt, Michael and Jerod, arrived at the appointed time and immediately got to work on replacing Furnace and A/C. The team was knowledgeable and friendly, answered all of our questions, and completed the installation on time. Prior to turning the system over to us, Jerod walked us through the new system components and gave us a quick tutorial on the operation and maintenance. We are completely satisfied with the installation. Thank you Team Hetter for such a great experience!

Hetter responded quickly when our furnace quit a couple of days before cold weather hit; the technician, Scott, replaced the system quickly, and it passed city inspection without any problem. I was impressed with the service and performance.

Tim was courteous, kind, professional, and efficient in fixing our furnace on a cold February morning. He arrived, assessed, and addressed the issue all in less than an hour. Grateful for the support!

Rick and Brian were the techs for our HVAC replacement. They did a great job. Their installation was very professional looking when finished. They answered many questions I had with courtesy as well. No regrets so far with Hetter.

I was referred to Hetter by a friend and I am so glad I was! We had a unique situation where we had a brand new unit installed earlier this year by another company that installed it incorrectly. There was a lot wrong and a lot that needed fixed but Hetter was able to look, figure out what was needed and fix the problem in a timely manner. The unit was a mess and it took them a long time but we are very grateful for their help and honest opinions about what needed to be done. We felt like we were misguided before with our other company so it was nice to have someone to listen and help us move forward. We would call them again if we ever needed them and appreciate all the help they gave us from the office workers to the maintenance techs.

Tim checked out our furnace operation for the winter. He was prompt, friendly and thorough and explained what he was checking for. He made a helpful suggestion for better temperature control upstairs by turning the fan to run continuously to improve circulation and maintain more constant temperature upstairs and downstairs. He also explained their maintenance plan that includes inspecting the AC in the spring. Excellent service.

We had a appointment an appointment to check out thermostat and furnace. Tech Tim called 30 minutes prior to his arrival and was very professional during the service call. He thoroughly checked over our system, made some adjustments and some recommendations. Tim had taken the time to answer all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns. I would highly recommend Hetter for any hvac issues!
