Hetter Heating & Cooling

We had Hetter install a new AC/heat pump at our house. It is nice and cool now. I was impressed with every part of the process from the initial sales to installation. They were responsive and quick. The installer, Scott, was great from showing up on time to explaining the controls at the end. I couldn't be happier.

I've been using Hetter for many years now and they just replaced my 23 year old furnace. Rick L came right on time, pulled out the old furnace and carefully installed the new one. He was patient and answered any questions I had, he completed the installation in the expected time frame, and left the basement a little cleaner than it was before. All my experiences with Hetter have been like this: very professional, friendly, and competent. They're the ones I always call.

Not your company for a mini split unit. I installed a mini split system and was told I can put it anywhere as we have a “hide a line” track that hides the wire. It took them 4 business days to get the unit up and running. The unit was installed and I went to look at it and this so called “hide a line” and it’s this massive bulky piece of plastic that runs on the outside of the drywall. I specifically asked 3 times why these lines weren’t going under the drywall but I was told it’s so they can access the lines if need but there would be this hide a line for cosmetic purposes. Clearly my concern was seeing these lines. No sales person ever told me about how much of an eye sore this was. I’m disappointed that this wasn’t shown to me ahead of time as I believe these mini split units may be newer to them and they are learning as well. I was then told if I wanted to move the unit it would cost me an extra $600 after paying thousands to begin with. This could have been corrected and it wasn’t. I would not recommend this company for mini split units specifically.

Thank you for your response. Yes nobody would want to see this outside of their house. Nobody reviewed with me the hide line and what exactly this looked like. Upon 3 attempts to the sales personnel I asked why these lines weren’t going into the drywall with nothing to visually clarify. I understand why they need to go outside the drywall, however if the sales personnel had taken the time and described what this hide line looked like I think the unit never would have been placed where it was. If you’ve been installing these for 15 years that’s fantastic but my experience with the sales personnel didn’t guide the customer very well on this. I would address this so it doesn’t happen to another customer in the future.

Tim was out yesterday to service our furnace to make sure it was up and running for the winter season! He did a great job and explained everything thoroughly! We have used Hetter for several years and appreciate the thoughtfulness and thoroughness of the staff. Thank you again to Tim!

Hetter is the best. The staff is genuine and helpful, which are valued traits when working with any business. We had our AC and furnace replaced. They’ve always been responsive with past repairs and the current install. Rick did the work and he was kind, professional, efficient and on time. Dave was our sales person and he was helpful and a delight to talk with. Overall, Hetter is a great local company you should call for all of your heating and cooling needs.

I called on a Tuesday, met the salesman Thursday and had my furnace and ac replaced the following Monday. Fast kind service. The technicians Scott and Michael were professional, worked hard all day, respected my home and stayed late to finish the job. My system works great and my home is comfortable again. I used Hetter because they were referred by a friend and now they’ll have me doing the same. Thank you.

Very good experience from start to finish. I called on 1/27 about getting a bid on a new furnace and A/C. Rick H. came out the next morning, did a very thorough job of explaining my options and measuring for proper sizing of the units, and by 4pm I had a detailed quote with 6 options. I had a few more questions that Rick answered promptly, and on 2/8 I made the decision to go with Hetter. My old furnace blower motor was in danger of completely dying, and they were able to get me scheduled for an install on 2/14. The installation crew of Rick, Brian, and Michael did a fine job. Rick answered any questions I had as the day progressed, and by a little after 4pm I had new equipment installed and working, and the work area was cleaned up. Professional workmanship and courteous service. They might cost a little more than others, but it seems so far that it is worth it.

They were very clean and organized didn’t leave a mess. The guy that did it was very professional and really kind and good at what he did.If I could give more then 5 stars I would!!!

I called for service last night because my heat stopped working. It was cold in the house just cut off. They arrived the next day early and diagnosed a shortage. Even though heat started back detected replacement needed and filter replaced. Tech Tim was ver professional explained everything and ordered parts to come tomorrow.
