We replaced two 30 year old poorly functioning furnaces last year with two high-efficiency furnaces and two high-efficiency A/C units. We chose Green Home Solutions because of their emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency, and our utility bills now reflect definite savings. But what was confirmed for us was that the most important factor in choosing a new furnace is not so much the brand of furnace as the skill of the installers. Our work site was challenging as the upstairs furnace is in a closet in a loft accessed only by a small enclosed spiral staircase. The crew, led by Victor, with Bernardo and Kyle assisting, deconstructed the old furnace and lifted the new upstairs furnace over a 12 foot high loft wall, doing this by building scaffolding and using good old fashioned muscle power. Our downstairs furnace also had some complicated issues related to the furnace exhaust, and required some careful consideration as well. The thoughtful attention given by the crew to all these issues was more than impressive. Green Home Solutions provided excellent and even artistic workmanship (Victor), gave attention to every detail, were highly professional and courteous, and were meticulous in their clean-up. And by the way, their maintenance service (Marty) has been impeccable as well. They have a great professional team!

We recently purchased a 90 year old brick home in Brooklyn Heights that utilized radiant heat through a boiler system and had no ductwork. The home was unbearably hot in the summers and we did a lot of research to find the right contractor to install an air conditioning system without significant disruption to the beautiful stucco work found throughout the home. Gabriel did a great job explaining the different potential options and we ended up utilizing a Carrier system and taking advantage of the financing with 0% interest. Green Home Solutions also installed an Ecobee smart thermostat that allows us to control both the new AC and the boiler heat through multiple devices.

Javier and the crew did a great job, working through some tough conditions that are found in older homes. We are very pleased with both the work and the professional way it was performed, and would recommend Green Home Solutions to anybody considering adding air conditioning to an older home with sensitive architectural features.

Install team was on time, courteous, professional, covered the carpeting and tile to protect them. Install was quick and quiet and they cleaned up before leaving. Reasonable cost for the installation.

Green Home Solutions never fails to impress our family! We had a horrible sewer back up that destroyed our basement and after remidiation they were right there to flawlessly install the drywall, paint and install new doors. Better than new in no time! GHS also fixed a major electrical issue in our daughter's room AND installed 5 new light fixtures in our home. This past Monday they installed a new and very beautiful front entry door and shutters. CLEAN and very PROFESSIONAL! The gentleman that installed the front door even noticed we were lacking insulation around the door and tucked some in. Attention to every detail! I highly endorse Green Home Solutions for their promptness, attention to detail, cleanliness, friendliness and true work ethic! I am excited to invite them back for additional projects!

Hired GHS to clean and inspect furnace in home we just bought. GHS phone agent said she was sending the most experienced tech, Marty. Tech came to the house and quoted parts he said needed replaced. The quote was high. He also recommended we replace the furnace and provided a quote. I came to find out he didn't even clean the furnace and parts he looked at during his visit. This was what I hired him to do. Why is it so hard to find honest service in the HVAC world?? I would like my money back for the service work not performed.
