Was a customer of Accurate since the 90’s without any issues. When I needed work completed, I would call and ask if my equipment was under warranty. They said yes, sent out tech, no charges other than for limited warranty labor so no issues. Same process occurred on 1/5/18. When tech completed the diagnostic, he said I wasn’t covered and that I would owe a 69.00 service call. I balked as I had confirmed my equipment was under warranty. To make a long story short, the reason I was charged a diagnostic fee was that I had chosen not to reup my service agreement. All these years, I thought I wasn’t charged a service fee because my equipment was under warranty. I explained this on 1/5/18 to lady that answered phone at chillicothe office. She understood what happened and said she would waive the 69.00 fee. She asked my to speak to Rana Reeds, customer service supervisor of the Lancaster office to ensure this didn’t happen again. Rana Reeds sent me an email stating that I hadn’t been charged a fee because I had always had a service agreement. She further stated I was charged because I had let the agreement lapse. I explained my reasoning and she told me the fee would not be waived. I also appealed to Michael Linton, part owner and he refused to waive the fee. I am now a customer of David White hvac and have a service agreement with an extended warranty that covers labor and filters!!! I filed a complaint with bbb and was surprised to read the negative reviews regarding this same accurate and the same two people. BBB disallowed my review because I had made a complaint😡. Be sure and read the reviews. Accurate has an A+ rating so I don’t trust bbb to be accurate.
The two gentleman that showed up where on time, professional, and courteous! They answered all my questions and were quick and efficient! BS and DM Thank you!!!
The men that did the installation were very hard working and diligent. They were very professional and took pride in their work. Will be using again when needed.
