In early July, 2018 I contracted Crane Heating and Air Conditioning to replace my residential 5T HVAC system. The Crane Team were excellent from beginning to end. Once contacted they were responsive to my needs. Jim L. shared with me all my options in terms of brands, one stage vs. two stage systems, etc. Once we agreed on the brand and model the installers were quick to do their work. Bob, Will and Larry were very efficient in first clearing the old HVAC system and then in the installation of the new system. They explained what they were doing during the course of the 2-day project. The were courteous and responsive to questions and requests. I would definitely chooses Crane again!

We have used Crane for over 6 years to fix a couple problems with an old furnace, replacing a broken thermostat,, when our air conditioning broke (in 100 degree weather!) and to maintain both furnace and air conditioning. I've found them to be very responsive, reliable, trustworthy and always do a good job.

Crane Heating & Air conditioning, and specifically Jim Lohbeck went above and beyond the call to help us get heat.
We called at the end of the business day and shared our issue of “no heat.” Jim brought space heaters over to get us through the night and addressed the issue immediately! We had a new unit by end of the following day and now all is well! We can always count on Crane Heating and Air conditioning!

I wish there was a way to give 0 stars for their MOST RUDE customer service manager! I have a custom home that was built almost 4 years ago which has 2 furnaces/AC units. The builder had Crane Heating AC company put in the furnace and AC units. Everything was working fine (or I thought so) until a few weeks ago when the AC stopped working. I had another company come out and diagnose it. They found the system was substantially lower on refrigerant, performed leak search and found the copper braised fitting on the liquid line at the evaporator coil was leaking. This is inside the home in the closet and I could see the small hole in the pipe where the oil is leaking. The technician told me that it was a defect in the workmanship of the installer as a hole does not automatically appear on a metal pipe. He asked me to contact the installer rather than pay them lot of money to fix the issue. I asked the builder who had installed it and then called Crane. I left a message for the service manager, Michelle. Michelle called me and as I started explaining the issue, she interrupted me and said she could give me a quote. I started to explain the issue again and she again repeated if I was calling to get a quote. I told her that she wasn’t letting me finish my sentence and she again interrupted saying that they didn’t know who’s touched it and what was rubbing against the pipe. It also happened to another customer of theirs and something was rubbing against it. Then I told her that nothing is rubbing against it and I can send her a picture, to which she declined. As I started to tell her the location of the hole, she interrupted again and said that there is no warranty after 1 year but she can give me a quote. Then I told her that she wasn’t listening to me and wasn’t letting me finish ANY sentence. She got very rude then and started repeating her warranty claim and quote. I just hung up the phone then. I am appalled at the way they treat their customers! Customers must be first listened to and treated with respect. This company has no values or ethics. I don’t know if that is their COMPANY TACTIC to not stand up to their defective work or if it was a BAD manager, but whatever it is, I would warn anyone from hiring them. Go take your business elsewhere!

Tom was amazing. He listened to what I described, and went straight to the issue. He shared information that would help us maintain our system in the years to come. He was very thorough and careful of check all of the system. He was a real life saver on a very hot day.
