Buying a new A/C and furnace is never fun experience, but Gaelan was fantastic and honest every step of the way. I loved the straight forward approach he took from day 1 through completion of the job. He gave me his opinion when I asked and was able to answer every question while never pressuring me into a decision I didn't want to make. Both Gaelan and Ron were very professional during installation, tested everything in front of me, and explained step by step the things they did in a way that anyone could understand.
I did my due diligence and shopped around to several local companies, but no one came close to Solar Flare in both cost and ease of working with.

Do not trust an inspection from this company!!

We were buying a home and they reviewed the AC as old but functioning properly. A week after moving in the AC stopped working. Had someone from two different companies(shopping around for new ac quotes) look at it and they found two very obvious leaks and damaged parts. Some of the parts were normal wear and tear, but there was no way a professional looked at our unit and would not immediately notice the leaks.

PROPERLY AT TIME OF INSPECTION.
FURNACE IS ALSO WORKING PROPERLY"

Gaelan was here about an hour after I called. Only problem turned about to be my drain, so I was happy it wasn't something more expensive. Our first time using Solar Flare, but we will use them again. Seems honest and trustworthy.

I called Solar Flare on a Sunday morning with an emergency. He quickly returned my call and came out immediately. He was thorough and isolated the problem quickly. He had the part i needed and I had heat again within 5 minutes! The cost was very reasonable and I got a coffee mug lol. I will definitely be using Solar Flare again, and you should too!

We have used Solar Flare four times now. Twice for normal routine annual checks of our furnace and twice for after hour repairs (a Sunday during the day last winter and a Thursday night this winter). We have been more than pleased when they come out. They're prompt, professional and very pleasant. This last time was when we noticed we didn't have any hot water from our gas water heater. Vectron had been out earlier in the day to replace the meter due to the smell of gas and evidently they didn't check to see that everything was back on after they finished working.

We called Solar Flare about 8pm once we realized we had no hot water. They said they would finish what they were doing and be right over. 40 minutes later he was here. He said he knew what had probably happened and was right because our pilot light on the water heater was out. He relighted it and waited to make sure it didn't go out. He also was knowledgeable when I asked him about switching to a tankless on demand water heater. The rate charged was very reasonable every time he has been out to our house.

Wow! They provided great service. A/C unit was blowing blowing warm air when the first heatwave came in late May.. I called on a Thursday afternoon after all the bigger companies in the Dayton area could not get out to look at it until Monday or Tuesday of the next week. The young lady on the phone said they should be able to have someone out by the end of they day. They arrived within a couple of hours and fixed the issue by adding 6 pounds of freon (aobut $70/lb)

Solar Flare was very quick to respond to my call and set a time to help with my issue. They did great work and you couldn't tell they were ever in my house. I was very pleased with the quality of work and the fair pricing I will be using solar flare from now on.

I had a service professional from Solar Flare HVAC come to take a look at my A/C unit. He repaired only what was broken - the fan on my outside A/C unit - (for a few hundred dollars instead of the thousands quoted by another "big name" company). Within 2 hours of my initial phone call the work was complete, and A/C was working. Wow, what a relief!

Gaelan and his team are always prepared for the job. Solar Flare Heating and Air has recharged our refrigerant, replaced an ignitor on our furnace, performed the necessary troubleshooting to isolate each issue and gets it fixed quickly. We also have them out twice a year for system checks on our 30ish year furnace and AC, and at no time was I pressed to replace or upgrade anything when the system is in working order. We do have our eye on updating the HVAC in a year or two, but it is nice having the routine checks while we price out the options.
