H Jacks installed a new HVAC system and did a fantastic job! The technicians were punctual, respectful and friendly. We’re thrilled with our experience and have already referred our neighbors.

I would not recommend H Jacks, they are overpriced. I asked for a quote on one job and they ended up recommending additional work on top of that job, which is fine, but I did not get an itemized invoice and was under the impression that the work I actually needed done was the bulk of the cost. I should have asked for an itemized estimate.

When they came to do the work, they did the "extra" projects but did not complete the main job. This was a gas line issue and they said Dominion needed to get involved, but they had said at the time of quoting that Dominion would not need to be involved??... And then they still charged 80% of the total estimate, saying that only 20% of the estimate was for the main gas line job that I originally wanted done.

Basically I overpaid big-time for an unnecessary hot-water tank replacement (at least double what I should have paid) and ended up hiring a different contractor (at a better price) to do the gas line job. And I had to call three times to try to get a credit on another portion of the job I had paid for and they never completed. They also quoted a new furnace and they were DOUBLE the price to install the same brand of furnace as a different company that quoted.

Find someone else!

HJacks installed a new furnace, AC, water heater, and a well holding tank for me a few years ago and did a top quality professional job so naturally I called them when I had a problem with my kitchen faucet. Their response was fast and Phil did a great job and fixed me up in no time. Very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this company. Make HJacks your FIRST call for all your HVAC and plumbing needs.

Chip and his team are amazing! They are not even done with our bathroom remodel yet and the experience has been great (as great as it can be when your house is being torn apart), professional, friendly, clean I HIGHLY recommend!

H. Jack’s to the rescue! When we smelled gas at our office building, we called Dominion first. They came out, found a couple leaks, spent a few hours trying to fix and then just gave up and turned off the gas, leaving us all to freeze. H. Jack’s was there within 1 hour! First, they pressurized the line and identified all the gas leaks – showing us very patiently where all the trouble spots were. At that point it made much more sense to just replace all the gas lines to multiple furnaces. While this turned into a bigger job, George and his guy promised that they could still get the heat on for us same day. These guys worked at a very rapid pace and when the job went into the late afternoon, instead of the usual “We’ll finish it up tomorrow” that you’d expect from any other company, they called in a few extra guys to finish it up so that we can get our gas on same day. Great work, very fast service, high quality workmanship – and most of all peace of mind. That’s why we called H. Jack’s!

Everyone I've spoken to at this company was extremely helpful and friendly. Not only were they efficient and effective, they were honest. You don't get that everywhere. We will be using them every time and recommending to all our friends! Wish we could give more than 5 stars!

Chip and his crew did an excellent job of replacing the cast iron plumbing in my house. Very pleased with the finished work of the drywall. Couldn't be happier.

Chip and Phil did a FANTASTIC job in my bathroom. I had a rather complex problem and their efficiency and expertise really saved the day.
