H. Jack's Plumbing and Heating Akron

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I am in the middle of a dispute with them. They overcharged me, couldn't break down the charges, couldn't complete all the work I was charged for, lied to my warranty department and gave me a quote for other work with NO PRICES on it! I called the supervisor Greg to voice concerns, all he could do is send out the same plumber that originally came to my home. NOW I am in the middle of a dispute with my credit card company. Being a nice person, I didn't even dispute the whole charge!!! They were able to unclog my toilet but not my sink. In their rebuttal letter to the credit card company they LIED AGAIN and told them that I never called to get the problem resolved, however I have recordings of our phone conversations with the supervisors. This place is a joke!!! I do NOT recommend. They took advantage of a 22 year old female who was home alone and just bought her first home. I was charged $360 to unclog a toilet, and for my sink to not be fixed... A JOKE!

Well Ron, I told you the price was a bit much and you explained to us the steps before what price we needed you where knowledgeable and said you would clean up afterwards when I showed him the drain we seen the camera . 2 hours later or so when he finished made an excuse the cardboard was on the floor that’s why I couldn’t clean it. I said yeah okay. When you said you’ll clean afterwards I felt better and when you was waiting for the second guy, I don’t know his name but it was 2 of you guys? And nothing was cleaned? You did a walk through with me in the beginning and based on that when my drain was the problem. I told him I’m not use to with plumbing I be a work. I told him I need jet cleaning from the drain to the street. I told him this is my mom house Senior discount and $10.00 off service call. He said not the service fee. January 12, 2021. I was told Plumbers make the same as doctors? I’m a new customer and drain warranties wasn’t talked about but Ron marked it on the bill no warranties on drain cleaning, that wasn’t discuss with me

I had a clogged shower drain that I was unable to fix myself. I decided to call in a professional. The first 2 plumbers came from a well known national brand. Neither was able to resolve my issue with one even recommending cutting a hole in my ceiling to analyze the pipes. I decided to get a third opinion and called HJacks.

They sent out 2 guys that worked diligently until they resolved the issue without cutting any holes in my ceiling. Their prices might be a tiny bit higher than some other national brands, but the work is so much better that it is absolutely worth it. I won't consider calling anyone else next time.

H Jacks did a great job repairing a clogged pipe I had and were very professional in the process. They provided a pre-estimate cost and were very respectful of the location and clean up after. In addition, they were very clear in the explanation to the process they recommended. Thanks for doing a great job!!

Korey was top knotch professional. Called ahead, showed up on time and analyzed the situation. Explained the problem and took care of a stuck drain in the kitchen with making any kind of mess. Highly recommend these guys and ask for Korey!!!!

These guys were awesome very professional. Adam did a wonderful job explaining all our options and what the issues were. He answered any questions and explained the boiler system to us because we have never had heat like this before. Very knowledgeable, patient and thorough. He and his apprentices took the time to make sure everything was cleaned up even better than when they got there.

Our a/c unit stopped working during one of the hottest days of July, within 2 hours of calling H Jack's their technician, Adam, from the Akron office was at our house and had it fixed. He was very professional, knew exactly what he was doing and explained things thoroughly. This was an excellent experience from start to finish!

I recently bought a house and found this leak in my bathroom and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I was very upset and searched online for a plumber to help me solve this issue. I called during the evening and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The plumbers who came out were so kind and really listened to what I had found and then did their own thorough investigation. Due to the age of my house in order to truly know the problem they had to cut into the ceiling of my kitchen. The plumbers made sure to lay down stuff to protect my floor and completely cleaned up their mess. They did proceeded to do the most detailed investigation I had ever seen. They ran the tub, the filled it, they flushed the toliet and sinks to make sure nothing was actually leaking. They found that there was no major issue but they made sure to check everything possible to make sure it wasn't something small and that gave me peace of mind. I had to schedule the fixing of my ceiling for another day and these plumbers were just as good. The did a fantastic job patching my ceiling and cleaned up their mess so well you couldn't tell they were there. Every single plumber I encountered was professional and kind. I know if I ever had another plumping issue I would call H Jack in a heartbeat. If you are looking for a good group of knowledge and punctual plumbers look no further than H Jack! I HIGHLY recommend them.

Love, love, love HJacks!! My mom, Ann and myself had a plumbing issue that starting in January, maybe.. Called Hjacks and someone was out that day. They found several issues that needed attention. They were very informative and went over several options with us. They ALL were very professional, friendly and worked around our schedule. We are very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them to our friends and family (if we had any)... haha

The guys from H Jack's came out to install new gas lines in our recently purchased home. The guys were able to tackle the large job in a day. They were knowledgable and kind, they answered every question we had and were very informative They cleaned up after themselves and left the place much better. I strongly feel we achieved maximum value with H Jacks.
