    Steve Miller, our technician, was very knowledgeable and repaired our hot water heater in a timely manner. The company's response was quick and very much appreciated on a Sunday morning. We will definitely use this company whenever the need arises.

    Chipper and Kyle fixed my fireplace, which was left by a another merchant in unsafe conditions. Chip was knowledgeable, hardworking, puntal and an overall nice person. I will hire this company in future for whatever I may need. I highly recommend them.

    Chip and crew extended two water lines and drain line. Installed utility sink. Added shut off for ice maker and connected supply line to refrigerator. They were polite, professional and creative problem solvers. They were thoughtful in prepping letting me know exactly what they were going to do. They worked steadily until the job was done. They cleaned the site thoroughly. Overall just a great job.

    So our sink in the bathroom exploded a couple weeks back and we called this company. We were told someone would be out next day around 1. Around 4pm the guy calls my fiance telling him there was an issue and they were on their way. My fiance was at work so it was me and my grandma at home. As soon as the guy got to my house he stepped into the bathroom, took one look underneath the sink and gave me some super high price. Knowing nothing about plumbing I said okay. My fiance went the night before and bought all the parts the guy would need to fix our sink and replace the faucet. After 2 hours the guy said when he put the faucet on, the seal broke. He gave me no reasoning for why it broke. He said we would need to get another one and call them to put the new one on and that on top of what I had paid that day, they would make me pay more when they came out again. Not to mention the guy was talking about overtime and whatnot when they don't even get paid overtime. My fiance calls the company after finding out the price and everything that happened. At first the owner seemed willing to work with us. The other day the owner gave my fiance a huge attitude and said he would pay me 75 dollars back or I get nothing (since I clearly wanted my money back after this guy did nothing except break our new faucet) and then hung up on him. 75 dollars out of a 350 dollar charge and I have yet to see that 75 dollars. Very unprofessional and overall horrible experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    From the first phone call I placed I was treated wonderfully. As a renter Was very concerned because my only bathroom sink would not drain the intake rep was very courteous and assured me you could fix the issue and scheduled a service call. The service rep Nate was on time and came in ppe which put me at ease in these covid times, he was courteous and did everything he could to help but my pipes were full of rust so they needed replaced ( landlord issue) so I told him I would get back to him after speaking to my landlord. I contacted my landlord and advised her of the issue so she said get a full quote so I once again called Nate I felt like a total pain but he assured me it was okay and came out. He did a complete check on my house and found a leak in my furnace which could have killed me and my son with co2. I could not be more thankful for the professional service he provided and his thoroughness. My landlord is cheap and didn't pay for the services. I am grateful for your company finding this issue and saving our lives. If I was the owner of the house I would have paid for your service for that fact alone. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!! Continue being great at what you do, I will highly recommend you to everyone I know.

    I called H Jack's when a friend of mine said they did great work for her out of the Cleveland office. The two men who came out to see us convinced me we needed more than $8,000 worth of work to fix a bad smell in our basement. When figuring out financing, one of the men told me we could fill out all the financing paperwork but they would let me know what the monthly payment was going to be before signing anything. They had estimated $70 per month, over a 10 year period. A second man was filling out everything on his phone/tablet device. He held it out to me and said, "Which one of these boxes looks like your signature?" (actually my husband's signature). I clicked one of the boxes, not realizing he was signing the loan contract for me prior to giving me the final monthly payment or letting me read any of the contract paperwork. When I asked what the payment was, he looked at his device and said, "$70." After they left I was able to read through the paperwork, and it was actually over $100 per month. I got very upset at this point, feeling I'd been lied to and taken advantage of. I was sick and trying to take care of my two children at the time of their visit, and so I wasn't as vigilant as I should have been. That's my fault.

    I gave two stars as opposed to one only because the man I spoke to from the company afterward seemed concerned and let me know we didn't have to follow through on the work. He offered to send a different team out and I declined. I cancelled the financing loan and we moved onto a different company. Over the next several days we had three other plumbers come out, and all three came to the same conclusion; the smell didn't have anything to do with the sewage or pipes at all. It's a separate issue in our basement. We did decide to go ahead and fix two plumbing related issues with a different company, for only $1,800.

    What a wonderful experience with H Jacks company. They went above and beyond. It was truly an amazing experience. The team was so kind and respectful and dedicated to do an amazing job. If you choose to go with this company I promise you won’t be disappointed! The lead man Chip is amazing with his team!

    Came home to smelling gas. Called Dominion who came out right away and shut my gas off. Said I had a leak. Called 8 different plumbers that had no emergency service to come out and repair the leaks. Called H Jack’s of Akron and they had a team come out to determine how many holes I had in my pipes with in a half hour of my call. Gave me an estimate and that Sunday morning came out and had everything repaired, cleaned up and leveled my water heater without even asking. Chip and his team made us feel like we knew them our whole lives and couldn’t of asked for a better crew to have had repair our issue. Dominion said they were impressed with the work that they did as well. My family would like to thank Chip and his crew for the great service, fast repair and professionalism that they showed us.
